The property was a great place to stay while we enjoyed a few days in Totnes. The property had everything we needed, was spotless and in a peaceful location, yet just steps from the bustle of Totnes and the various restaurants, pubs and cafes. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for easy walking to Totnes shops and restaurants, and also just 15 min walk from train station. The spotless and well organised flat was perfect for our four night break. Paul provided clear instructions and was very flexible.

I had an incredible stay at this charming Airbnb apartment in Totnes! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the centrum, with easy access to local shops and cafes. The apartment itself is cozy, clean, and equipped with everything I needed to work remotely for the week. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made my workdays smooth and stress-free. The host was very responsive and flexible regarding check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!

"We stayed in Totnes for the weekend for a friend's wedding a 15 minute drive away. The flat was beautifully decorated, clean and really welcoming. There was even a lovely speaker that we put music on so we could bop to music whilst getting ready. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed. It may have been really nice to have some tea bags and maybe condiments as buying a whole box of tea bags for 3 days seems excessive - but honestly that is me picking at straws, honestly there wasn't a fault at all. Paul was an excellent host and was super quick to respond to any questions before we arrived and on the day of arrival. We actually left the property around 15 minutes late on the date of check-out as (typically me) I couldn't remember where I'd put the car keys, but no one was there chasing us out the door and we were very grateful for the grace period. Couldn't recommend this place more!"

"In a great position for walking to all the shops, restaurants and many lovely coffee shops. Being able to get delicious coffee from 2 minutes around the corner was a real bonus and there is a pub almost next door. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to a lovely cafe near the quayside car park that had really friendly staff, a great cappuccino and outside seating with lovely views along the river. The flat was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need so it was easy to feel immediately at home."

"We had a great stay at this lovely little apartment. Great location in the heart of town, walking distance to the train station and lots of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops nearby. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a short break. The bedroom was comfy and quiet, and the living/dining/kitchen area was a great place to relax and cook. The kitchen had a good range of appliances and crockery, and the little kitchen essentials like coffee, olive oil, and salt were really appreciated! My partner had to do some online work during our stay (lots of video calls!), and the wifi was reliable and consistent throughout. The welcome pack had lots of great info, and the check in/out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Paul's communication was excellent ahead of, and during our stay - if we'd had any problems, I'm sure he would've been very swift to respond! We had a lovely short break, and would definitely stay again!"

Neighborhood
Totnes is the commercial centre for the South Hams. The town offers many attractions perfect for all ages. Check out the Totnes Museum to understand the local history, the Rare Breeds Farm to learn about different animals, or hop on the South Devon Steam Railway to enjoy the Devon countryside.
This part of Devon is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty with Dartmoor National Park ten miles to the north and stunning beaches and coastline ten miles to the south. Nearby beaches include Paignton, Torquay and Blackpool Sands, with the very nice towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe only a twenty or thirty minute drive away.
The bustling medieval market town has a mainline railway station giving direct connections to London Paddington with easy connection to St Pancras for the Eurostar. Totnes is just a three-hour train from London, and Hawkes Way is located a fifteen minute walk from the platform to the front door. There is also excellent access to the A38 Devon Expressway, linking Plymouth and Exeter where it joins the M5. Hawkes Way provides the perfect retreat whether you want to arrive by car or train.
