“We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. Lovely views and a very quiet location. Property was very clean and had all amenities required including a nice patio and BBQ area. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Devon”.

What a fabulous few days we’ve had at Stargazy over Christmas. The location was perfect, off the beaten track, but within reach of pubs/shops etc. The house itself is beautiful with views of the beach and ocean, a wonderful backdrop for Christmas dinner it has to be said. Paul was a fantastic host, always responsive, leaving a bottle of bubbly for our arrival and decorating the lounge with a lovely tree.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Relaxed comfortable place to stay for a girls weekend. Really great kitchen and open plan lounge area to socialise. Beautiful comfortable bedrooms with stylish bathrooms. Everything was easy, great location to explore! Paul was really responsive to any messages, great host. ☺️

The photos of this place don’t actually do it justice! Such a beautiful home with the most incredible views. We had to park in the main car park and then walk to the house which I’m sure would have been less stressful if we didn’t have a lot of bags, but we managed! We would honestly come and stay here again. Watching the boats from the top window was so peaceful!

Very nice villa and very luxurious, and it was very clean. It will definitely be our option every time we come to Dartmouth. Really liked it and they were so nice and the instructions were very easy to find the villa although the road was closed, but they made it very easy to find it We reached late at night and it was raining but thanks to clear instructions.
