This was a magical short break for our extended family. A beautiful house set in magnificent grounds which the photos really don’t do justice. The five children in our group all loved discovering the hidden garden and the pathways surrounding the property. Paul always communicated well with my queries. I would recommend using the postcode to find the property as the road name didn’t work. The property is down a very quiet country lane – one of those very narrow, grass growing in the middle country lanes. We had a wonderful stay in Thurlestone – a long weekend – Thurs to Monday and despite Storm Amy we had some good times on the beach and local farm park attractions. The home was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed and even suitable toys for the 18 month old in our party!

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of March & had a wonderful stay. The descriptions and pictures do not do this house justice & the master bedroom and outside seating even had a sea view! We travelled as a girl group of friends but all agreed we would be back with our partners and families.

We had a lovely time. Everything was as described. It’s a beautiful, quiet location. The roads in the area are quite narrow, so you should allow some extra time for getting around, but it’s really perfect for people who love country life.
