We had a lovely week i n Lower Deck. It is a short stroll down into the town and a longer walk in the opposite direction to the castle and round the headland. We loved waking up to the views across the water and we managed the whole week without using our car, taking ferries and buses to visit Totnes, Brixham and Agatha Christie’s house, Greenway. We had a lovely stay at The Apartment in Dartmouth. Everything was spotless, kitchen had everything you would need. Great location, everything is within walking distance & great places to eat. Would recommend taking the little boat that takes you to the castle & back. Definitely would stay again as also a great base to visit other places along the south Devon coast.

The location was great, the flat was clean, heating worked well and the parking permit was an added bonus. However it would have been nice to have some instructions on how to get the rather inadequate shower to turn on, and also how to receive a signal on the television. Not bad, but not great either.

Pretty flat, beautiful decorated and just right for 3 people working the food festival. Easy to find, parking might be an issue in summer but in October it was a breeze. Great hosts and would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely and spacious place! A great location with fantastic sea views. We didn’t have the weather for it but the rear garden and bar would be great in the warmer weather. The house was clean and well equipped, comfortable and homely.
