I would have liked an oven admittedly…it’s obviously got a lot of history so the doors don’t close easily and the locks are awkward. Not having blinds that block light was also a bit issues for me as a sleeper wanting a dark room. However, the location is amazing and the charm is unbeatable so I can’t complain. “We had a fabulous time in Dartmouth, the room was the perfect size, clean and cosy. It did heat up quite a bit towards the end of the day as it faces the sun all afternoon. But nothing an open window in the evening couldn’t fix. However, was a perfect location and the breakfast was amazing. Overall, we had a great time and we will be returning! 😁”

We love coming to Thurlestone and Spindrift is a beautiful property perfectly placed to walk to the hotel, Village Inn and beaches. The house has a secure garden and is dog friendly. There are great amenities and things to do inside if the weather is inclement. Paul is a great host who responds quickly to messages and sorts out any problems without any fuss.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was perfect for a long weekend in Devon. Literally 8 min drive outside of Dartmouth. The kids particularly loved the hot tub after spending the day out exploring. Thank you so much for having us!
