We loved our stay at Pear Tree Lodge. The house has a bright open feel, a slightly unique layout on two levels (there are a few stairs to the bedrooms) which I loved, large bright rooms and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a lovely stay at this property in Dartmouth, the house was an ideal place for our family, being close to the town and having its own parking. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, the beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

“Alf’s Rooms are simply fantastic. We stayed in the two B&B rooms and the studio flat. The kids loved the bunk beds. We had a wonderful bedroom. My mum stayed in the studio flat and it has great decor and a cool nautical theme. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. Over Dartmouth, the river and you can see the sea.
You pop downstairs for the best breakfast in Dartmouth. Amazing service from all staff.”

Great apartment in a superb location, everything within walking distance. Well appointed and was spotlessly clean. Excellent communication with the host throughout our stay. Lots of information available for recommendations for eating and visiting. Would highly recommend 5*

Super space to stay to play golf or explore the river Dart. Perfectly placed for easy trip to Dartmouth, Dittisham, Greenways or to the beaches. Would recommend the Sportsman’s Arms around the corner for meals and the Garden Centre Garden Time- not only really knowledgeable but super food (can recommend the breakfast) and service at both.

The property was a great place to stay while we enjoyed a few days in Totnes. The property had everything we needed, was spotless and in a peaceful location, yet just steps from the bustle of Totnes and the various restaurants, pubs and cafes. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location and a beautiful sea view. Very comfortable beds and easy access to the beach and Start Bay Inn for food and drink. Great place to relax. Parking can be a bit of a juggle to get a free space but they do tend to turn over quickly so wasn’t a problem for us.
