A beautiful private house with a lovely garden for dog and children. Surrounded by high hedges you wouldn’t have known there were houses around at all. Many butterflies on the hedge in the back garden and we even had a pheasant arrive on the front lawn one day. Great views. Well equipped. Comfy beds. Downside it’s on 4 floors with spiral stairs. Only 1 bedroom en-suite so the others tend to share 1 bathroom not ideal with 8 adults in the house. Water pressure not great. Needs black out curtains as rooms light at 5. Long trek to the kitchen from the road. Very narrow to get to the property. But we did have a good time.

We had a wonderful few days at the Boathouse – the location is second to none! To listen to the waves crash into the sea wall was the best! The pub was just right and the food was fantastic. All in all we had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend in a unique property with huge appeal. I hope to return soon.
