“We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. Lovely views and a very quiet location. Property was very clean and had all amenities required including a nice patio and BBQ area. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Devon”.

The instructions to getting to and into the house were straightforward and easy to follow. The turn into the drive from the main road is very tight but our estate made it ok. The house is beautiful inside with plenty of space in the living areas and kitchen, which has everything you need. We absolutely loved the Captains Cabin! We would definitely stay again. It was so quirky and the views were fantastic from the balcony! Paul was really responsive every time we pinged a message over… couldn’t fault him at all. We will and already have recommended the Captains Cabin to our friends and family!

We’ve actually stayed in this location before and so knew it and loved it. This lodge was beautifully maintained and superbly equipped. As an Airbnb host myself I was really pleased to see just how clean and it was. Would definitely re-book and happily recommend to friends and family. Bravo!

We loved the location. The view of the creek from the bedrooms and lounge is beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed being able to open the doors to the juliet balcony in the evenings. The apartment is light and airy and the kitchen well equipped. It was great to have 2 full sized bathrooms and the bedrooms were a generous size. Paul was very quick to respond to messages and we really enjoyed our stay.
