Wonderful Visit.
Lovely stay, beautiful location, host was really helpful would definitely recommend 🙂
Would really like to return
Our family of five had an amazing stay here. It’s a great location on the outskirts of Dartmouth and has access to some excellent beaches we made use of the Golf facilities which were also fantastic.
Perfect place to stay
Perfect place to stay for golf enthusiasts. The property was clean and well catered for. It was clear on the website that dogs should remain on leads outside, this was the only restrictive part of our stay. An extremely obedient dog would be key here.
We will definitely be back!

The lodge is beautiful and the morning view and evening sunset is even better. Great location with fun things for children.

Great to be back!
A return visit for us as a family of four. Beautiful location and very close to Dartmouth and a short drive to Salcombe. Set on a golf course it was a perfect spot for golf, sun, sea and amenities. Paul was a great host and was very prompt to answer/resolve queries. Will definitely be returning to this little haven.
Brilliant!
Fantastic accommodation, fantastic views and Paul was excellent in communicating. We will definitely be back
Great place to stay
Really good place to stay with friends or family.
Had a beautiful stay here
There aren’t enough words for me to give that will compliment this place the way it deserves. It was so peaceful, the views were amazing, especially at sunset. The rooms were spotless and so clean. The hot tub was amazing and we had a man come check it both day we was there. The host had great communication and was super friendly. I will definitely be returning soon!
Beautiful location
Beautiful location overlooking the golf course and property was modern, clean and tidy with all the amenities for our weekend stay.
Absolutely stunning cabin
Absolutely stunning cabin, perfect location to visit the beautiful area. Well described, well worth the money. Would highly recommend.
Very nice stay
Very nice stay and beautiful lodge. The pool was a nice extra to have too.
Super space to stay
Super space to stay to play golf or explore the river Dart. Perfectly placed for easy trip to Dartmouth, Dittisham, Greenways or to the beaches. Would recommend the Sportsman’s Arms around the corner for meals and the Garden Centre Garden Time- not only really knowledgeable but super food (can recommend the breakfast) and service at both.
Nice place, comfortable.
Nice place, comfortable. Only negative was that the hot tub wasn’t included in the price and this made us feel the accommodation was slight over priced. Unfortunately we didn’t realise it was extra cost as we booked before reading the entire passage on the property.
Happily stay here again!
We had a lovely stay here as a group of friends - the views from the back of the property are absolutely stunning. The place was very clean and tidy which we appreciated and the welcome guide was helpful. We did feel that for the price paid, it was a shame that there weren’t enough tea bags/ sugar sachets for everyone to have even one cup of tea during the stay, or enough dishwasher tablets as we cooked a couple of meals - if we’d known this in advance, we’d have brought things with us but it wasn’t listed (that we could see when we checked)! It’s worth noting that you will need to bring tea, coffee, sugar, milk, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products, cooking oil, extra toilet roll if you’re staying here as a group and will need those things but that is just personal preference and would’ve made the stay 100% perfect for us. Location was perfect and we’d very happily stay here again! Thank you for having us!
I’m sure we will book again.
The lodge is perfect in every way. Stunning surroundings and beautiful sunsets. The lodge was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed (it would be good to have liquid soap provided in the bathrooms for hand washing as we didn’t think to bring this) and we cooked on a few evenings. The lodge is beautifully laid out and we immediately felt at home. It was a great extra having the clubhouse with swimming pool, gym and pool table and we enjoyed using these amenities. We hired the hot tub and it was lovely to relax in with the views over the golf course. We know the area well so had already planned our days out but Paul‘s information packs with restaurant recommendations were really informative and great to read anyway. I’m sure we will book again.
Lovely, clean space
We stayed in this lodge as 6 adults, it was a lovely, clean space, well decorated with gorgeous views. On the doorstep of a golf facility and spa, which we made use of and only a short journey into Dartmouth.
Would recommend to anyone
Would recommend to anyone, the view was fantastic and the place was very cosy. We only had one issue with the hot tub which was our mistake in not reading correctly that it would not be ready on the first day, other than that it was perfectly suited for our needs. Thank you!
It’s a 10/10
My sister and I came with our two children for the half term. We wanted to get into the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth, without being in the middle. The house is in a great location, close to beaches/shops/local attractions. The house its self was perfect, plenty of space, well equipped and super cosy! We had three days of rain, so the added bonus of being able to use the pool with the children was great. Paul was on it with communication, and even though everything was very clear from the outset, the added guides/info was great. We would love to come back to the lodge some time on the future. It’s a 10/10
The lodge was spotless and a great location
Thanks Paul & Co for a lovely stay in Dartmouth. The lodge was spotless and a great location for our weekend retreat. Thanks for being a great host.
Amazing few days
Amazing few days away to see in the new year! Place was spotless! Having a Christmas tree was such a lovely surprise! Enjoying the hot tub on a cold evening was great! The lodge was beautiful! We would love to come back! Will miss waking up in the morning and looking at the view of the golf course. Thank you Paul & Co.
Really lovely lodge
Really lovely lodge with great hot tub. Dartmouth is a lovely village 5-10 mins drive away. Highly recommend - we had a great time.
A fantastic stay
A fantastic stay. Beautiful views. Immaculate inside, and the Christmas Tree on arrival really made it special. Use of facilities such as the pool, kept the children busy. It was easy to find with lots to do around the area within driving distance. Would definitely return as ideal base to explore the area. Thank you.
We had a great few days
We had a great few days here as a family. The lodge itself was immaculate and well presented. A short walk down the hill to the restaurant, bar and spa facilities, which were also very good. The discount on food and spa was a bonus. There are only about half a dozen lodges, meaning it was very quiet and peaceful. The only negative was that you cannot easily walk from the site as it is located straight off of a busy road, meaning a car is needed to get anywhere. However, only a five minute drive away we found the tiny village of Blackawton, which is a great place to run/walk from as it is surrounded by quiet lanes and has a nice village shop and pub. Within a ten minute drive you reach Dartmouth and beyond is the beautiful coastline which is very much worth exploring. In the opposite direction are Totnes, Paignton, Torquay and Newton Abbott, all of which we visited and enjoyed.
This place is set in a wonderful peaceful location
This place is set in a wonderful peaceful location. It is modern and extremely clean and we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend staying here and is in a great location to enjoy visiting the surrounding areas. would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for the use of your lodge for the past couple of days. We enjoyed our stay and was very impressed with the layout / set up and how clean and modern the lodge is. My father in law enjoyed it as it was easy access for him as he has limited mobility. If we stay in the area again, we will be in contact to book up again with you!
Really enjoyed staying at No 2
Really enjoyed staying at No 2. Well appointed and clean property. Views of the course and valley are superb. peaceful and quiet location, lovely course to play despite the hills. s Some lovely day trip opportunities to Dartmouth, Salcombe and Brixham. Good recommendations in tour guide provides. property would benefit from a screen between lodges but that's a personal thing. would definitely stay again. Paul was always quick to respond and helpful- thanks
The lodge was excellent
The lodge was excellent and in a fab location. The facilities were superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thoroughly recommend it.
We had a wonderful stay with YDE
We had a wonderful stay with YDE staying at the beautiful lodge number 2 on the Dartmouth golf and leisure estate. The lodge was beautifully clean and everything brand new. Location was directly on a wonderful championship golf course and excellent value as well as a spa, pool and gym all on site. We also loved sitting outside on the patio in the evening sun in between dips in the hot tub. Pure luxury!! Woodlands adventure park just down the road and the location was brilliant for all the best South Hams beaches and towns. A simply wonderful stay will definitely be booking with YDE again especially if lodge 2 Dartmouth grove is free in the week we are! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
Great place to stay
Great place to stay to explore Dartmouth and the whole of south hams. Hot tub is a great addition and golfers wandering by provided entertainment all day long! Can reccomend the Sportsmans arms for dinner and the old inn, also worth going to Dittisham and getting the ferry over to greenway! Fantastic stay and would come again!
Nice accommodation.
Nice accommodation. Bedrooms were snug but fine. Nice en suite to the master. Lovely views and hot tub. Great for golfers. Short drive to Dartmouth and surrounding areas.
Thoroughly enjoyed a short break away
I have just thoroughly enjoyed a short break away with my 3 adult children. Perfect accommodation - modern, spotlessly clean, great amenities, beautiful views and just perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I’m glad i paid extra for the hot tub as this was a great added feature to have at the end of a long day, to relax and look across the golf course at the views. I fully recommend this lodge and would definitely return.
Definitely be booking again!
We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful lodge number 2 on the Dartmouth golf and leisure estate at Dartmouth Grove. The lodge was beautifully clean and everything well thought through with a local theme. Location was directly on a wonderful championship golf course and excellent value as well as a spa, pool, tennis court and gym all on site. The gym and pool were free for all guests in the lodge and the spa was 25% off all treatments. We also loved sitting outside on the patio in the evening sun in between dips in the hot tub. Pure luxury!! There is something for all the family here. Woodlands adventure park just down the road and the location was brilliant for all the best South Hams beaches and towns. A simply wonderful stay will definitely be booking again! Thanks so much!
Absolutely loved our time staying here
Me and my family absolutely loved our time staying here. The place was spotless when we arrived, and check-in was super easy. We loved it so much we’re planning on going there again! Paul was super responsive with questions, and the plot is surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Would recommend you having a car as a little run around, as everything is within a 10/20 minute drive from the lodge, but would be a little difficult to access if you wanted to walk as the area is quite rural so not many paths to walk on safely. Plenty to do in the area though. Lodge is very spacious, doesn’t feel like you’re all sat on top of each other at all. Highly recommend staying at this lodge, 10/10 star rating from me 🙂
Stunning Lodge!
We had a wonderful stay at this stunning lodge! The property is hi-spec, very modern, and impeccably designed, offering plenty of space and comfort for our family. The golf and recreation facilities were excellent, and the location was ideal for a relaxing yet active break. The hosts were friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect. Highly recommend for those seeking a luxurious, well-equipped getaway!
