Beautiful location with wonderful views. Ideally situated with local amenities conveniently situated. Not easy for those with walking difficulties as there are steep steps down to the property. Does need some attention to the interior and exterior decoration as it is showing signs of wear. That aside this is a very nice home to enjoy whatever the weather with picture windows and rap around terraces

We have just returned from a few days at the lodge in between Christmas and New Year. It was absolutely gorgeous , so cosy and in such a beautiful setting. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas as well. We really loved the log burner in the evenings, it’s clear that everything has been thought out carefully in the lodge. The beds are so comfortable and the decor absolutely lovely, we were sad to leave!

What a fabulous few days we’ve had at Stargazy over Christmas. The location was perfect, off the beaten track, but within reach of pubs/shops etc. The house itself is beautiful with views of the beach and ocean, a wonderful backdrop for Christmas dinner it has to be said. Paul was a fantastic host, always responsive, leaving a bottle of bubbly for our arrival and decorating the lounge with a lovely tree.

We spent an amazing family weekend here. The cottage was clean and comfortable and felt like home immediately. The location was a relatively easy access to Salcombe with only 15-20mins drive. The check in could have been more flexible given the long trip we had to make to get to Devon. Otherwise we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive and we highly recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely place and we were helped by good weather. Facilities were good. We loved Dartmouth and Salcombe and the nearby Blackpool Sands had ample car parking and lots of space. The reason for a 4 star review not five was the last minute information that the outside space was in danger of stray golf balls and it would have been good to have that in the main spec. We had a 2 year old in party and it would have been good…

The place is really comfortable and has plenty of space! The beds are comfortable and showers hot, and the kitchen fully equipped. The lounge is a lovely place to relax, and the view is breathtaking. The ferry for Dartmouth is a few minutes walk away, as are two lovely pubs! Walk to The Ship inn for a sing along to some sea shanties on a Thursday evening. Words cannot describe how utterly incredible this place is. From enquiring about a booking to leaving, everything was perfect.
