Paul always communicated well with my queries. I would recommend using the postcode to find the property as the road name didn’t work. The property is down a very quiet country lane – one of those very narrow, grass growing in the middle country lanes. Solstice is a lovely house near to restaurants, with an amazing view and we’d certainly like to return. Clearer instructions for rubbish disposal would be useful, as the bins in the garage weren’t labelled. The property has lovely quality crockery and nice big towels! The stairs to the top floor are very steep, so not suitable for everyone.

Great location and handy to have the parking permit. Coukd do with some soap in the bathroom. There is a small courtyard outside of the back of the property.

“The house is very comfortable and well maintained . It offers everything you need. Three adults have enough space.You can quickly walk to the city center and have shopping ,pubs and restaurants. Parking near the property is always available.Very nice landscape. Small towns ,beaches and hiking trails are easy to reach. All in all recommended.”

This place was better than we expected and was very well prepared for our group that also had young children. The views are absolutely amazing and it is just a short stroll into the town. We would definitely return.

Perfect venue for large family gathering – room choices were great. Immaculate presentation with all mod cons. Amazing views and location. Would advise travelling light as the steps down and up to the house are not for the faint hearted and there is no parking outside the property. All being said – we would definitely come back and stay – lovely!

We had such a fantastic stay here – probably our favourite Devon spot to date – the kids loved staying at The Hen House, being right on the farm and being greeted by the sheep and getting to see the calves.
