We escaped to the beautiful 9 Riverside Wharf for a Mother’s Day weekend with kids ranging from 5-8, and parents in their 70’s. What a great time we had! We stayed at the lodge as a family of four in April and had a fantastic experience. The lodge was immaculate, beautifully equipped, and exceptionally comfortable – especially the superking bed. “Alf’s Rooms are simply fantastic. We stayed in the two B&B rooms and the studio flat. The kids loved the bunk beds. We had a wonderful bedroom. My mum stayed in the studio flat and it has great decor and a cool nautical theme. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. Over Dartmouth, the river and you can see the sea.

I’d definitely stay there again. incredibly beautiful views and a very cosy apartment. Can’t emphasize how beautiful the view was!! we spent all our time sitting next to the large French windows! a very nice kitchen and squeaky clean bathrooms. Had a wonderful stay at Galions Quay! The photos don’t do it justice, stunning views on the river, perfect for a rainy getaway. Perfect for 2 families, us and our baby plus our friends and their 2 kids 4&7. Walkable into town with beautiful views of the river.
