“In a great position for walking to all the shops, restaurants and many lovely coffee shops. Being able to get delicious coffee from 2 minutes around the corner was a real bonus and there is a pub almost next door. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to a lovely cafe near the quayside car park that had really friendly staff, a great cappuccino and outside seating with lovely views along the river. We have just returned from a few days at the lodge in between Christmas and New Year. It was absolutely gorgeous , so cosy and in such a beautiful setting. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas as well. We really loved the log burner in the evenings, it’s clear that everything has been thought out carefully in the lodge. The beds are so comfortable and the decor absolutely lovely, we were sad to leave!

We had the best time staying at higher venice, the farmhouse was beautiful and perfect for our big family Christmas, the house was so lovely and warm, the rooms were very big and clean and tidy, the grounds were beautiful, we would definitely love to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful settings.Thank you for a lovely break away for Christmas.

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in, great location, no real traffic noise at night and an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. A parking permit for the main car park in Dartmouth was provided by Paul which was much appreciated.
