“We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. Lovely views and a very quiet location. Property was very clean and had all amenities required including a nice patio and BBQ area. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Devon”.

The most beautiful property! The view from house was spectacular, the whole house was decorated beautifully. You couldn’t find a better spot up the River Dart to watch the boats go by and the sun rise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We came for a much needed break and Lower Heywood was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved the roll top bath, powerful shower and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The food festival was a bonus for a wonderful town that has a special place in our hearts as we got engaged here 32 years ago. This property was absolutely perfect for a weekend away from London with friends. We only needed 2 of the bedrooms, but 2 other rooms were available. We brought our dog as well. Everyone thought the property was perfect for all we wanted to do. We came to dine at Seahorse and go hiking in the area. We had a great stay at the property which was ideal for our family and would happily return there. The location was brilliant for walking into town with excellent crabbing for the children to enjoy! The parking space was a huge bonus and as we were out of season and took a second car, free on road parking was easily accessible near by. So much to do in and around Dartmouth for all ages to have fun!
