We stayed at Trafalgar Cottage for the weekend in August.
The house is furnished to a very high standard, extremely tastefully decorated, but what elevates it are the amazing views from literally every room and the gorgeous terrace where we say for hours just watching the boats and the world go by.
If you are considering staying here as two couples or a family, don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.

The property is in a good location and it was easy to get inside with very clear instructions. The beds were really comfortable and rooms were of a good size. The rooms were very clean and well maintained and bathrooms were lovely. The kitchen and utensils were great, and a nearby co op allowed for ease of getting essentials such as tea and coffee. “Wonderfully located and a stunning view from both the house and the upper terrace area. Certainly enough to do around the house alone. Looking for a stroll, the beach is a minute walk away. Great island to venture to House was very clean and well described to the booking”.

Peaceful spot but easy to visit different and fantastic beaches, Dartmouth, Totnes, Kingsbridge and Dartmoor. The Byre had lots of space for our family, was well-equipped, clean, comfortable and homely. We’d very happily stay here again.
