Paul always communicated well with my queries. I would recommend using the postcode to find the property as the road name didn’t work. The property is down a very quiet country lane – one of those very narrow, grass growing in the middle country lanes. “Alf’s Rooms are simply fantastic. We stayed in the two B&B rooms and the studio flat. The kids loved the bunk beds. We had a wonderful bedroom. My mum stayed in the studio flat and it has great decor and a cool nautical theme. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. Over Dartmouth, the river and you can see the sea.
You pop downstairs for the best breakfast in Dartmouth. Amazing service from all staff.”

We had a wonderful time at the barn and were provided everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and comfortable beds. Location was great with Blackpool Sands just a short drive away. The local pub provided delicious food and was literally just around the corner. Great house in a great location

Great location in Dartmouth with all things to do a short walk away. Lot of pubs and restaurants nearby. There is a lovely view from the apartment and the facilities are good. Very responsive customer service with helpful recommendations for food/local attractions. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. After wet beach walks we enjoyed warming up in front of the log burner watching a film. A really peaceful location and we felt right at home and comfortable straight away. Location was great for exploring neighbouring towns, beaches and amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

“We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. Lovely views and a very quiet location. Property was very clean and had all amenities required including a nice patio and BBQ area. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Devon”.

Spotless house and well equipped with everything we needed, but not so full that u couldn’t store anything which I’ve found with a lot of previous places. Lovely space and nicely furnished.
