Great location! Lovely and spacious apartment. The kitchen was a bit cramped with five people at the table. The living room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view and evening sun. The ferry to Dartmouth is very close and runs very frequently (7am-11pm). We took the Round Robin ferry to Totnes, a lovely trip. Totnes itself was very nice, and we visited the castle. If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect spot. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. One of the highlights for me was the sounds of birds. The surrounding area is perfect for morning walks or just sitting outside with a cup of coffee. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay.

Best value B and B we’ve stayed in. Spacious room with comfy firm bed. Amazing breakfast included – proper fresh orange juice, locally sourced bacon, sausage and egg. A popular place for breakfast.

The most amazing and charming cottage. We had the best time staying at Cider Cottage for Christmas with our two children. The cottage was clean, tidy, well equipped with all cooking utensils and a Christmas tree was even provided, which was a lovely touch. What a fabulous few days we’ve had at Stargazy over Christmas. The location was perfect, off the beaten track, but within reach of pubs/shops etc. The house itself is beautiful with views of the beach and ocean, a wonderful backdrop for Christmas dinner it has to be said. Paul was a fantastic host, always responsive, leaving a bottle of bubbly for our arrival and decorating the lounge with a lovely tree.
