Great little cabin. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Woke to bird song each day. Loved the log fire. Perfect if you want to get away from it all. It is a remote location and difficult to get about with the dreaded Devon lanes surrounding it, but if you want peace, you will find it here. Good luck finding the microwave and washing machine! It’s there….just not where you might expect!

This place is ideal for a short break in Totnes. We loved the convenience and centrality although it is tucked away on a side street. Totnes is full of great eateries and independent shops and there are lots of things round and about to do too. Spotless house and well equipped with everything we needed, but not so full that u couldn’t store anything which I’ve found with a lot of previous places. Lovely space and nicely furnished. Garden was beautiful, not that we got to enjoy it because of the weather unfortunately. Great parking on drive and brilliant to have the utility space for wet coats and wellies. “We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs.
