The property was perfect for us- location especially, facilities in the house, parking, information book in the house etc but the standard of cleanliness was absolutely outstanding! It really was the cleanest, tidiest and most well cared for property I have ever stayed in.

Great place to stay to explore Dartmouth and the whole of south hams. Hot tub is a great addition and golfers wandering by provided entertainment all day long! Can reccomend the Sportsmans arms for dinner and the old inn, also worth going to Dittisham and getting the ferry over to greenway! Fantastic stay and would come again!

We loved our stay at Pear Tree Lodge. The house has a bright open feel, a slightly unique layout on two levels (there are a few stairs to the bedrooms) which I loved, large bright rooms and had everything we needed for our stay. Can’t emphasize how beautiful the view was!! we spent all our time sitting next to the large French windows! a very nice kitchen and squeaky clean bathrooms. Great location in Kingswear, close to the ferry, train and bus. I’d recommend 100%

“This is a gem, right in the centre of Dartmouth. Everything from start to finish was marvellous. Breakfast at Alfs was super good. This is a truly unique place. Next booking we hope to go for the Captains apartment at top of house. We highly recommend King Alf’s.”

Great communications from the owner and really timely info about check in. The flat felt bigger than the pictures showed and was really very well decorated. The bed in master room was thankfully a King size and very comfortable, the single beds were also ample.
