Amazing few days away to see in the new year! Place was spotless! Having a Christmas tree was such a lovely surprise! Enjoying the hot tub on a cold evening was great! The lodge was beautiful! We loved The Captain’s Cabin! The furnishings really did make us think we were staying on a boat. Breakfast at Alf Fresco was an added bonus. A perfect base for our weekend walking the coast path.

The upstairs has views of the hills and my partner loved sitting out on the little balcony and watching the night sky. We were there in hot weather. It worked for us since we were out during the day. It was easy to cool the top floor in the evenings by opening up all of the windows. The bedroom downstairs was always cool enough to sleep well.

We were lucky to get an opportunity to stay in this amazingly well designed and run place for 4 nights. Lovely stay at Galions. The views are incredible, the beds super comfortable, and the location ideal – an easy walk into Dartmouth and very close to the castle and castle to town ferry. Would happily stay again.
