“We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. We booked this place for a family pre Xmas stay and were not disappointed in any way. The house is as described, but better in the reality. It felt like a home from home, spacious, warm, perfect;y clean, and the high quality and comfortable furnishings were appreciated by all. Lovely location by the river and an easy walk to Dartmouth. Very, very good.

The elegant apartment was exactly as advertised. We were so pleased. The location is superb. The restaurants, bars and shops are all within an easy amble. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay and wished we were staying longer! The house is beautiful and great for a big family group. The kitchen is a lovely social space, the lounge is so comfortable and we loved eating outside on the patio. Easy bus journey into Dartmouth if you don’t want to drive and find parking. The Green Dragon pub in the village is brilliant for food and drinks – the staff were very accommodating and helpful.

Dart Loft was a beautifully appointed flat in the centre of Dartmouth, ideal for exploring the area, including with our new baby. For unloading, there are three 1 hour parking bays directly outside the property, which proved very handy on arrival. Had a wonderful stay at this place in Dartmouth. Location was the standout. 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants, 5 minutes to parking and to the waterfront. Clean, well-stocked, and great communication from Paul. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Location is excellent but the room was smaller than I anticipated. I am a larger man and couldn’t get into the gap in the shower. Also the room was very warm. Just letting larger people know that maybe one of the other rooms in the property would be better suited. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was superb (one of the reasons I can’t get in the shower!).

Torcross is a very special place and the cottage was great. The picture window was perfect for watching the gorgeous view and the seal swimming past. Listening to the waves on the stones as we fell asleep was so relaxing. We didn’t want to leave.
