This part of Devon is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty with Dartmoor National Park ten miles to the north and stunning beaches and coastline ten miles to the south. Nearby beaches include Paignton, Torquay and Blackpool Sands, with the very nice towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe only a twenty or thirty minute drive away.
The bustling medieval market town has a mainline railway station giving direct connections to London Paddington with easy connection to St Pancras for the Eurostar. Totnes is just a three-hour train from London, and 3 Cottage is located a fifteen minute walk from the platform to the front door.
