We had a lovely stay
We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Starting with the positives, it was super quiet and very peaceful in the evenings which was surprising as it’s on the main high street. The cottage was very clean and as expected. Check in was super smooth with the keys easy to find. All in all, we were pleased with everything. A few things to mention however – parking is not on site. We had to find public long stay car parks around the area to keep the car. Sometimes they would be full, so would need to move the car. The cottage was initially hard to find as instructions given to us were that it was above a phone shop and there are two phone shops on the street. The one where the cottage is, is further up. The bed was small, it’s a double but for two adults could be a bit tight. My friend ended up sleeping on the sofa bed.
We had a lovely time
We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful cottage in Totnes. Its location just off the High Street was perfect for popping out in the morning to grab a coffee and explore the town. We were a little concerned about parking before we arrived, but it turned out not to be an issue at all. The car park was only a short walk away, and purchasing a monthly pass worked out to be the most cost-effective option for us. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and felt very homely throughout. One of our favourite things was sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We stayed during the heatwave, so having the bedroom downstairs was a real bonus as it stayed lovely and cool. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.
