Very comfortable and quiet spot
Very comfortable and quiet spot despite being surrounded by houses. Very easy walking distance to the centre of Kingsbridge
Spotless house
Spotless house and well equipped with everything we needed, but not so full that u couldn’t store anything which I’ve found with a lot of previous places. Lovely space and nicely furnished. Garden was beautiful, not that we got to enjoy it because of the weather unfortunately. Great parking on drive and brilliant to have the utility space for wet coats and wellies. We walked down the hill into town and to the lovely crabshell restaurant. Two big supermarkets a 5 min drive away so easy to get anything we needed. We have family we came to visit down roads up so couldn’t have been a better location. We will def be back to stay thank you so much.
Just returned from a 4 day break
Just returned from a 4 day break, the bungalow is modern, immaculate, a beautiful garden with views of the countryside, you have everything you need here, there is lots of literature to help you navigate Devon, maps, walks, best beaches etc which we found really helpful. The town and estuary are a few minutes walk away, I would recommend the crabshell inn on the estuary, great food and a good vibe.

We were extremely happy with our booking. The home was fantastic, clean, comfortable, well equipped and had a beautiful garden and sun terrace. No complaints from us at all. Good walking access to Kingsbridge, although up hill on the way back. The only thing I would say is the split level layout inside may be an issue to those with mobility issues. We loved it here and would love to come back.

Gem of a place!
Pear Tree Lodge was so homely, with a stunning garden, peaceful and with comfy beds. It’s in a quiet location but very walkable and close to the estuary and Kingsbridge. The South Hams are stunning 🏝️ A little gem of a place. 💎
We would certainly recommend it
The property was as described and well equipped. Parking was excellent and under a canopy so out of reach of seagulls! We are very familiar with Kingsbridge which is good and central and has 2 supermarkets if not planning to eat out every day. In all we would certainly recommend it and plan to stay again in the future.
We loved our stay
We loved our stay at Pear Tree Lodge. The house has a bright open feel, a slightly unique layout on two levels (there are a few stairs to the bedrooms) which I loved, large bright rooms and had everything we needed for our stay. The garden was beautiful, with a stunning view over the fields and down to the estuary. And there was ample room for 2 cars on the drive. Also, we were happy to discover a second bathroom which I hadn't seen mentioned, came in handy with 3 adults. This really is the perfect spot for discovering some of the south coast of Devon. We headed to Salcombe, Totness, Dartmouth and Bigbury-on-Sea and all were within a 30 min drive. I would highly recommend this property for your trip to South Devon. Thank you
Great location
Great location, brilliant parking which is a real bonus in Kingsbridge. The garden is lovely with a nice balcony and furniture. Good information pack in the property and communication is good from the owner with clear check in and out instructions. A pleasant spacious property.
