Located in the quiet Bridgetown conservation area, this is the perfect holiday cottage for a trip to Totnes.  Sleeping eight across four bedrooms, it is the perfect family friendly option in this historic market town.

The ground-floor is entered via an entrance hall leading to the dining room, lounge, and kitchen.  The lounge is elegant, yet bold, with colours allowing you to appreciate the history of the home.  The dining room is fitted with a wood-burning stove, making it the cosiest room in the house during the colder months.  The galley-styled kitchen is south-facing, treating you to lots of natural light whilst you cook up a storm in your Totnes holiday cottage.  The kitchen will be supplied with t-towels and a sundry pack.

Stairs rise to the first floor, home to the family bathroom and two double bedrooms.  One is a king, and one a super king.  The second floor is a converted loft with a twin bedroom (containing your choice of one or two single beds), a third double bedroom (with a king-size bed) and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.  A starter supply of toilet rolls, and hand soap will be available in the bathrooms.

The rear garden can be accessed from either the kitchen or the inviting patio doors adjacent to the dining area. From the patio, head for the steps that lead up to the garden, and admire the abundance of flowers, plants and shrubs that surround you.  Sit and enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine in this Totnes holiday cottage. A barbeque can be provided on request.

This Totnes holiday cottage is the perfect space for a family escape to Devon.

The market town of Totnes is the ideal place for an escape this year.  The River Dart flows alongside the town, so enjoy a wander, and the town centre is home to an excellent selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafés for you to enjoy.

The town offers many attractions perfect for all ages, many within walking distance of Pomeroy Cottage.  Check out the Totnes Museum or Totnes Castle to understand the local history, the Rare Breeds Farm to learn about different animals, and hop on the South Devon Steam Railway to enjoy the Devon countryside.

Further afield there are many villages and pubs waiting to be explored.  Nearby natural attractions include some of the best beaches in the UK and the splendour of Dartmoor National Park.

Totnes offers excellent access to the A38 Devon Expressway, offering speedy access to Exeter (where you join the M5) and Plymouth.  Or enjoy a carless holiday in Totnes and visit via train. The town has a mainline station offering direct connections to London Paddington, with easy connection to St Pancras for Eurostar.

This Totnes holiday cottage is also available on a ‘Reduced Occupancy’ basis – please contact us direct to enquire.  There is limited on-street parking adjacent to the property and there are short- and long-stay car parks close by at a cost of up to £6.50 per day.

Guest book...

"Really nicely presented house, with a very well equipped kitchen. A short walk into vibrant Totnes, but very quiet and peaceful residential street. There is a small , pleasant courtyard garden. We were a group of six and all felt comfortable. I would have been happier with a firmer mattress, but that’s a personal preference. All communication was straightforward and helpful."

Fiona, Aug 23

"Really comfortable and stylish home with everything we needed. Very central and close to Totnes shops and restaurants. Parking easily available in the road behind the house. A very enjoyable stay. We loved Totnes and the lovely arty shops! And of course, the beautiful area and coast is hard to beat!"

"We loved our stay here - the place was super clean, all the rooms were lovely, and we arrived to a bottle of wine and some local fudge :) There are lamps everywhere which make the place super cosy and lovely to be in. The best house I've ever stayed in! Would 100% recommend if you're in Totnes and need the space!"

"Just a quick note to let you know that our stay at Pomeroy Cottage was Gold Standard! The property was perfect for us- location especially, facilities in the house, parking, information book in the house etc but the standard of cleanliness was absolutely outstanding! It really was the cleanest, tidiest and most well cared for property I have ever stayed in. Many thanks for a great mini break."

Nadia, March 24
