Located in the quiet Bridgetown conservation area of Totnes, enjoy a quiet corner of Totnes whilst being close to the action.  The house is a family-friendly property that sleeps eight people across four bedrooms.

The ground-floor is entered via an entrance hall leading to the dining room, lounge, and kitchen.  The lounge is elegant, yet bold, with colours allowing you to appreciate the history of the home.  The dining room is fit with a wood-burning stove, making it the best room in the house during the cold and cosy months.  The galley-styled kitchen is south-facing, treating you to lots of natural light whilst you cook up a storm.  The kitchen will be supplied with t-towels and a sundry pack.

Stairs rise to the first floor, home to the family bathroom and two double bedrooms.  One is a king, and one a super king.  The second floor is a converted loft with a twin bedroom (containing your choice of one or two single beds), a third double bedroom (with a king-size bed) and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.  A starter supply of toilet rolls, and hand soap will be available in the bathroom.

The rear garden can be accessed from either the kitchen or the inviting patio doors adjacent to the dining area. From the patio, head for the steps that lead up to the garden, and admire the abundance of flowers, plants and shrubs that surround you.  Sit and enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine whilst taking in the sights and smells. A barbeque can be provided on request.

This property is also available on a ‘Reduced Occupancy’ basis – please contact us direct to enquire.  There is limited on-street parking adjacent to the property and there are short- and long-stay car parks close by at a cost of up to £6.50 per day.

Totnes town is the commercial centre for the South Hams. This part of Devon is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty with Dartmoor National Park ten miles to the north, and stunning beaches and coastline ten miles to the south. The bustling medieval market town has a mainline railway station giving direct connections to London Paddington with easy connection to St Pancras for Eurostar. There is also excellent access to the A38 Devon Expressway, linking Plymouth and Exeter where it joins the M5.

Pomeroy Cottage is a perfect property for the whole family to enjoy.

Guest book...

"Really nicely presented house, with a very well equipped kitchen. A short walk into vibrant Totnes, but very quiet and peaceful residential street. There is a small , pleasant courtyard garden. We were a group of six and all felt comfortable. I would have been happier with a firmer mattress, but that’s a personal preference. All communication was straightforward and helpful."

Fiona, Aug 23

"Really comfortable and stylish home with everything we needed. Very central and close to Totnes shops and restaurants. Parking easily available in the road behind the house. A very enjoyable stay. We loved Totnes and the lovely arty shops! And of course, the beautiful area and coast is hard to beat!"

"Beautiful home in stunning surroundings. Paul was very friendly and flexible. Was able to advise me on transport links to and from the airport. Outstanding value for money and exactly as described. Would highly recommend and if I’m. Suiting Totnes again I’d definitely book again! Thanks!"

"We loved our stay here - the place was super clean, all the rooms were lovely, and we arrived to a bottle of wine and some local fudge :) There are lamps everywhere which make the place super cosy and lovely to be in. The best house I've ever stayed in! Would 100% recommend if you're in Totnes and need the space!"
