Enter Greenswood through a communal entrance into a small foyer. You are welcomed into this ground floor apartment by the tastefully decorated lounge with large front-facing, traditional bay windows with their abundance of natural light. With a comfortable corner-shaped leather sofa, Smart 43″ TV and music system, it is the perfect space for a quiet night in.
A small hallway guides you to the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom neighbours the living space, overlooking the rear private courtyard and is home to a king-sized bed with hanging space. At the end of the hallway, you will find the kitchen. Fitted with all your self-catering needs including a fridge freezer, microwave, single oven and hob, and a dining table and chairs. Behind the kitchen is the bathroom, fitted with a bath and overhead shower.
The kitchen leads out onto the rear courtyard where there is a privately enclosed area with table and chairs. Enjoy an evening glass of wine to complete the perfect day in Devon. Brixham is ideally placed to explore the stunning English Riviera and the rest of South Devon. It is a favourite all year round for dog lovers and walkers alike. The coastline at Brixham is dominated by one of the UK’s greatest and best-loved nature trails – The South West Coast Path. The ferry from Brixham Harbour takes thirty-minutes to Torquay where there are arcades, ice cream and a great beach. Beautiful beaches line the nearby coastline for you to explore.
Just down the road (via the number 18 bus or a ten-minute drive) is Kingswear. The village is home to the Steam Railway Company, offering a historic ride to nearby towns and villages including Paignton and Churston. From Kingswear, you can also take the ferry across to Dartmouth. This idyllic town is a must on Your Devon Escape. You can also board the foot ferry to Totnes which is a beautiful town with shops and restaurants.
Greenswood is an ideal bolt hole. A place not just to escape for the weekend, but to enjoy for an extended break.
