This Dartmouth holiday cottage is perfectly laid out for a comfortable stay with separate lounge, dining, and kitchen areas. The lounge is situated at the front of the property with large bay windows, encouraging lots of natural light. It is equipped with two comfortable sofas, a wall-mounted TV, and a wood burning stove, perfect for the colder months.
The dining room enjoys enough seating for the whole group to dine together, alongside a second TV and third sofa. This is the perfect layout for hosting a small gathering or if the group wants to spread out. The downstairs bathroom is located just off the dining room and boasts a nice walk-in shower as well as toilet. A starter supply of toilet rolls, and hand soap will be available in the bathrooms.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped and overlooks the rear garden, with access to the decking areas direct from the side kitchen door. The kitchen will be supplied with t-towels and a sundry pack.
The upstairs hosts three bedrooms and a family bathroom, which consists of a bath and overhead shower. The master bedroom is home to either a super king bed or two single beds (please advise us when booking – two singles is standard set-up) and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom at the rear has a king bed, a chest of drawers and wardrobe with hanging space and enjoys views of the rear garden. The third bedroom is located at the front of the house and consists of a 4ft double bed with a storage space.
The rear garden of Victoria Terrace adds an abundance of outside space for you to enjoy at this Dartmouth holiday property. Three separate tiers each offer something unique. The lower level is a sun trap decked area with outdoor furniture, perfect for al fresco dining, at any time of the day, or even just to kick back and catch some rays. If you wanted to sit and read a book in peace and quiet, the second tier offers seating amongst mature shrubs along with the summer house. At the end of the garden is an elevated decked area, with seating, which allows views down the valley to the town and river and the perfect spot to enjoy the evening sun with a glass of your favourite tipple.
Dartmouth is an idyllic base for a escape to Devon. Enjoy stunning views from the banks of the River Dart as you stroll along the embankment. Wander the streets of independent shops, restaurants and cafés. Indulge in a boat trip on the River Dart, or catch the ferry and hop on the steam train.
Families with adventurous young explorers are sure to love nearby Woodlands, just five miles out from this Dartmouth holiday accommodation, where all-weather fun is guaranteed. With a mixture of rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, and even a toboggan run, you’re sure of a good day out. Or why not step away from the shore and take a boat ride up to see the sights of the historic Greenway Holt, home of Agatha Christie.
