Parking & Access:
Parking is restricted to using the pub car park. From there it's approximately a 5 minute walk to the property. We advise that you consider travelling light as to not have to carry too much along the footpath. This property and location isn't suited to those with mobility issues as both entrance doors are accessed by a set of steps.

Pets:
The River Shack is perfect for dog walks and river splashing and we welcome guests with one small, well-behaved pet. We do ask that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture and you will need to bring your own dog towels, bed and bowls. Please pick up after your pet wherever whilst you are visiting. The neighbouring property does have free range chickens and we ask that you are careful not to let any pets wander unsupervised.

High Tides:
Due to the nature of where the property is located we strongly advise that you consult local tide times. During high or Spring tides part of the access path can flood so we advise you consider bringing a pair of wellies just in case.

Mud Flats:
When the tide goes out patrolling the mud flats can be great fun but we urge parents to not let children wander around unsupervised given the mud flats can be both boggy and in places deep.

Winter/Evenings:
We advise that you bring with you a torch of some sort as the estuary pathway isn't lit.

High Chair & Travel Cot:
We ask that you bring your own with you if you require them.

Rental Conditions:
Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.

Guests are encouraged to make the most of the riverside setting by hiring kayaks locally to explore the estuary at their own pace, or perhaps trying their hand at fishing for the local mullet and bass.
