‘Steppes’ by name, steps by nature. This Stylish, spacious and family friendly property is accessed via a number steps that lead down to the river from the road above. Once inside you are treated to the most incredible views that span up and down the River Dart. Outside there is ample space to enjoy along with ‘The Boathouse’, sleeping five more guests and available on request. The property is also centrally positioned meaning town is just a five min walk away.

Beautiful location with wonderful views. Ideally situated with local amenities conveniently situated. Not easy for those with walking difficulties as there are steep steps down to the property. Does need some attention to the interior andcexterior decoration as it is showing signs of wear. That aside this is a very nice home to enjoy whatever the weather with picture windows and rap around terraces

The most beautiful property!
The most beautiful property! The view from house was spectacular, the whole house was decorated beautifully. You couldn’t find a better spot up the River Dart to watch the boats go by and the sun rise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Truly Breathtaking
What a truly breathtaking property. The pictures just don’t match up to the wow factor when you walk in. Of course the unbelievable views help , but the house itself is beautiful! Right on the river , we could have stayed on the balcony for the whole weekend just relaxing and enjoying the view. Location was fabulous, beds were comfortable, and the house was spacious and I loved how it was on different levels so you can always “escape” for a breather for 10 minutes! The kitchen is fantastic and the big fridge freezer with an ice machine was a great help! I don’t have a single “con” When directing my party, I told them it was easier to use the “what3words” that Paul provided in the check in message (rather than the postcode),then look for the “steepes” sign on a cream pillar. Thank you so so much for providing such an amazing base for us to celebrate! We will definitely be booking again!”

The WOW factor!
"Well, this place certainly has the WOW Factor… absolutely stunning, I don’t think I’ve ever walked into a house and been blown away like this before. I booked this for my family to celebrate my sisters 40th and we all had the best time, the house is faultless and simply amazing, the views are amazing, location wise it’s a short walk to all the shops and pubs which again is a big plus, Paul was a great host friendly and always responsive. Left a lovely welcome pack which was a nice touch. Would definitely book again and hope to do so in the future".

The main living space was perfectly laid out for spending time with friends. There are two dining tables which was great as one turned into a puzzle table whilst we dined at the other. The bedrooms were spacious and the bed were incredibly comfortable. We had the most amazing time at Steppes House and would love to stay again".

"This house is absolutely breathtaking, the most fabulous place we’ve ever seen! Wow! Perfect location, perfect hosts. They even kindly let us extend your checkout which was so so kind. Can’t wait to return, photos don’t do this place justice!!! I can’t wait to stay again! Kitchen well equipped, we cooked supper for 10! Fab! Comfortable beds and luxury bedding, such a treat!"

"This is a magical home with the most beautiful view of the sea entrance to Dartmouth. Couldn’t have asked for better weather in December waking up to blue skies and sunshine. It’s worth the journey once you navigate all the steps and luggage down to Paul’s place. Would come again and bring more guests as there is plenty of room here for a big group. Love all the balconies and different levels of the house. Having a boat in the summer would be the icing on the cake too. Thank you for creating a beautiful idyllic home by the sea in this charming town".
