One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed in
One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed in. Right from entering the appartment we felt at home – the nook in which the bed is is so cosy, the open kitchen makes it feel so homely. The views over the harbour are unbelievable, because you are so high up you feel like you are on top of the world. The interior is so cute and we especially loved the big table to work from. When they say private it really is private we did a flexible check in which was so handy and felt like we were all by ourselves. Dartmouth is a bustling small town with lovely pubs – we even took the ferry that leaves every 5 min to go to a pub on the other side. Lastly what we didn’t realise is the breakfast at Alf’s is included as well – it’s THE spot in Dartmouth and always busy. We were so sad when our time was over, we will definetely be back but next time for at least a week!
Great little space
Great little space for solos or couples. Within two minutes walk of most of the lower part of Dartmouth, loads of great pubs and cafes. The space itself is very quirky with hatches and hidden storage spaces, with lots of sea memorabilia without feeling cluttered or dusty. I didn’t cook, but the kitchen had all you could want (except an oven), with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, plates and glasses. Would definitely come back if I’m in the area

A hideaway above the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth. Great views and super comfy mattress! The apartment is totally original and quirky. Loved it. Paul has been really helpful from the initial booking and after check out. Easy parking either on the street or in the nearby car park. And the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

We loved The Captain’s Cabin! The furnishings really did make us think we were staying on a boat. Breakfast at Alf Fresco was an added bonus. A perfect base for our weekend walking the coast path.

The apartment has incredible charm
The magnificent view of the harbour captivated us time and time again. But even apart from the location, I would have loved the apartment. It has everything you need and it has character. Check-in was easy, parking was straightforward, and there's plenty to do nearby. Perfect!
Amazing place
Such a unique place. So cleverly fitted out as a boat that during a storm we believed we were on the high seas! Stunning views, wonderful food at Alf Rescos and the parking permit made things so easy. The position in central Dartmouth couldn't be better. We are planning to revisit asap and wouldn't hesitate te recommend the cabin.

Very communicative and helpful. This is one of the coolest places I've ever stayed in, was very clean and had everything we needed. Amazing view of Dartmouth and very unique interior for a special stay. We slept really well and found the space was even bigger than it looked on the listing too. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay
We loved our stay in this quirky apartment with a nautical theme, full of character and fantastic views of the Dart estuary. Paul and his team were very attentive and helpful. It was the perfect stress free holiday we had hoped for.

Great location in Dartmouth
Great location in Dartmouth with all things to do a short walk away. Lot of pubs and restaurants nearby. There is a lovely view from the apartment and the facilities are good. Very responsive customer service with helpful recommendations for food/local attractions. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. Also dog friendly which was a big part of our choice. The complimentary parking permit is ideal and allows you to park nearby and central to Dartmouth.
Loved the Captains Cabin
We absolutely loved the Captains Cabin! We would definitely stay again. It was so quirky and the views were fantastic from the balcony! Paul was really responsive every time we pinged a message over... couldn't fault him at all. We will and already have recommended the Captains Cabin to our friends and family!

Wonderful views from top floor characterful accommodation. Walking distance to harbour and choice of great venues. Over a fabulous cafe/restaurant serving delicious breakfast. Hope to be back very soon.
Great Stay
We had a marvellous few days in Dartmouth. The Captains Cabin was queerly and had views to die for. Paul was a great host and responded promptly to messages. The cafe made breakfast easy and lived up to the reviews. Highly recommend the stay to anyone wanting something a bit different

Thoroughly enjoyable stay , so good I extended my stay. Location is perfect with great views and of course just above the the renowned Alf Resco cafe. I look forward to staying here again.

The bonus was being able to go downstairs into Alf-Rescos cafe and have wonderful breakfasts from 7am - which meant we could set off early on our walks. I'd really recommend this place. Just the perfect spot
"Just the perfect spot in Dartmouth. Amazing views of the Dart & had everything we needed for a weekend break. Located right in the heart of town close to some lovely restaurants & pubs. Paul was helpful throughout & the check in procedure was very smooth. The Cabin sits atop a lovely cafe where you can pick up pastries & coffee in the morning in a matter of seconds! We both said we wished we could have stayed longer so we will almost certainly be back!"

"We stayed in the Cabin for a few nights, and it was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be returning. Everything was clean and cozy, with fresh linens, breathtaking views, and a warm atmosphere that felt like home. Its central location made it easy to enjoy great coffee and fantastic breakfast just downstairs, plus we could walk to incredible restaurants. My partner loved exploring the nearby galleries and boutiques. Parking was easy, and having a permit for the nearby lot was a huge help. Paul provided excellent communication, flexible check-in, and made sure our trip ran smoothly despite a minor hiccup on our end. It was truly brilliant, and we can’t wait to come back".
