Rockfish
The original Rockfish opened in Dartmouth in 2010, with stunning views of the River Dart. The restaurant prides itself in serving sustainably caught, fresh local seafood. Fish is landed and prepared at dawn, in the neighbouring town of Brixham, to be served at lunchtime. This family-friendly restaurant is passionate about helping more people enjoy sustainable South West seafood. Consequently, the staff are very knowledgeable, and are on-hand if you need help with dining decisions or simply want to learn more about local seafood. Their entire menu is gluten free which, when prepared as such, is suitable for coeliacs. Rockfish offers non-fish options and can cater for vegans and vegetarians. Booking is recommended.

The Anchorstone Cafe
The Anchorstone Café is one of the South Hams’ few true river-side cafés, situated on the bank of the River Dart in the beautiful village of Dittisham.
From the 1950s to 2001, The Anchorstone Café was a small tea room but for over twenty two years it has been owned and run by Clare Harvey with her family team. Many changes and improvements have been made along the way, including a new inside dining room, an outside eating terrace and new kitchen facilities. The Anchorstone Café remains a South Hams treasure.
The Anchorstone Café offers a fantastic local menu, including seafood and great wines. Boasting an amazing panoramic view across the River Dart from our outside terrace or inside restaurant, we are open throughout the summer season and specialise in delicious seafood lunches, crab, lobster, mussels.

The Seahorse
This multi-award-winning restaurant is owned by Chef Mitch Tonks and is run by his son and daughter-in-law. They serve both a sensational seasonal fish menu alongside delicious meat and vegetarian options. The menu changes daily depending on the catch, paired with delicious new and old wines. Many of the dishes are prepared over the charcoal fire, with the menu inspired by the Italians. They serve delicious yet simple dishes, showcasing the best of Devon and further afield.
