Tucked away on a quiet little street, it’s hard to believe that Dartmouth’s bustling town centre, with all its shops, bars, restaurants, and heritage destinations, is just a few steps away. A modern and contemporary feel throughout, combined with all the creature comforts you might need to relax and enjoy your break, the property can accommodate up to five guests across three bedrooms. Modern touches and period features, a comfy lounge area, and a charming little courtyard for alfresco eating combine to make this a year-round destination to thoroughly enjoy.
The property is spread across three floors. The front door welcomes you into the property and the shared living area. The modern lounge is equipped with two leather sofas and large wall mounted TV. Adjoining the lounge is a fully equipped recently refurbished kitchen with everything you might need for a home-away-from-home. The kitchen will be supplied with t-towels and a sundry pack.
The three comfortable bedrooms are spread across the two upper floors. The first floor comprises of a double bedroom with sash-style windows overlooking the town itself, and a smaller single bedroom. The single bedroom is located at the end of the landing and given its location, doesn’t have a window but benefits from a children games and wall mounted TV. The master bedroom spreads across the whole top floor, with extended views over the town.
The property has one large bathroom, fit with a large walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Its modern design is the perfectly place to refresh after a busy day of exploring the local area. A starter supply of toilet rolls and hand soap will be available in the bathrooms.
Behind the property is a quaint little courtyard that allows you to start or end your day alfresco style. The property also comes with off-street parking, available on request for a small additional charge.
A two-minute walk from the front door, you will find the beautiful River Dart embankment where you will find ferries to Kingswear. Or simply step out the front door, and find yourself on the South West Coast Path which runs out towards Dartmouth Castle and beyond. Blackpool Sands is the closest beach, a five-minute drive or a one-hour and half walk away in the village of Stoke Fleming.
Families with adventurous young explorers are sure to love nearby Woodlands, just five miles out from Dartmouth, where all-weather fun is guaranteed. With a mixture of rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, and even a toboggan run, you’re sure of a good day out. Or why not step away from the shore and take up one of the many boat rides which can be caught from the waterfront, with sights to see including historical Greenway Holt, the home of Agatha Christie, and a selection of nautical wildlife too, from seals to sea birds.
Dartmouth is an all year round destination hosting a variety of regional events like the yearly Dart Music Festival (May), the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta (August), and the Dartmouth Food Festival (October).
