Would 100% stay again!!
Just finished a weekend with friends in Devon. The house was very clean and tidy with all the amenities you could ever need. Fantastic location, very quiet and tranquil, plenty of great parking and very secure. Would 100% stay again!!

Beautiful large property that suited all ages. Stunning garden and outdoor areas. Could do with a few tea bags for arrival and some slightly better directions to arrive. Would definitely book again.
A great house
A great house for a un fussy large family stay… well equipped, plenty of rooms for all our needs (eating, playing games and chilling and plenty of loos!) Very pretty surroundings and not too far (if you drive!) from the lovely towns of Totnes and Dartmouth.

A beautiful place in lovely surroundings, very spacious and good instructions. There are lots of very narrow lanes around the area so be prepared for lots of reversing!

Magical Property
This was a magical short break for our extended family. A beautiful house set in magnificent grounds which the photos really don't do justice. The five children in our group all loved discovering the hidden garden and the pathways surrounding the property. All rooms were tastefully decorated, large and many, especially the big conservatory, with its wide opening doors, have superb views of the South Hams hillsides. We wish we could have stayed for longer.

The house was roomy and comfortable in a sublime setting overlooking a beautiful valley. The garden was lovely, including its own walled garden and two streams tinkling their way below it. We couldn't have been happier!

We had a wonderful stay at Higher Venice – a stunning, spacious country house ideal for a large family gathering. Set in the beautiful Devon countryside, the surroundings are peaceful and picturesque, with a lovely garden perfect for both relaxation and family fun. The house is full of charm and well-equipped with everything we needed. Its location is perfect – secluded and tranquil, yet just a short drive from Dartmouth and the coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, explore and enjoy time together. Highly recommended!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. Lovely views and a very quiet location. Property was very clean and had all amenities required including a nice patio and BBQ area. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Devon".

"Beautiful home in the most stunning location. The kids loved exploring the grounds and the view was very much appreciated. Plenty of space in the house for all 12 of us, and very clean. Host sent a really useful link with all information required for check in and our stay, as well as tips on places to explore, which we used alot! Would definitely recommend and good location for exploring surrounding area".
