A beautiful place
A beautiful place in lovely surroundings, very spacious and good instructions. There are lots of very narrow lanes around the area so be prepared for lots of reversing!

Magical Property
This was a magical short break for our extended family. A beautiful house set in magnificent grounds which the photos really don’t do justice. The five children in our group all loved discovering the hidden garden and the pathways surrounding the property. All rooms were tastefully decorated, large and many, especially the big conservatory, with its wide opening doors, have superb views of the South Hams hillsides. We wish we could have stayed for longer.

The house was roomy and comfortable in a sublime setting overlooking a beautiful valley. The garden was lovely, including its own walled garden and two streams tinkling their way below it. We couldn’t have been happier!

Set in the beautiful Devon countryside, the surroundings are peaceful and picturesque, with a lovely garden perfect for both relaxation and family fun. The house is full of charm and well-equipped with everything we needed. Its location is perfect – secluded and tranquil, yet just a short drive from Dartmouth and the coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, explore and enjoy time together. Highly recommended!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Higher Venice for my mother’s 60th Birthday. Plenty of room for us all as a party of 7 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs. Lovely views and a very quiet location. Property was very clean and had all amenities required including a nice patio and BBQ area. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Devon".

Host sent a really useful link with all information required for check in and our stay, as well as tips on places to explore, which we used alot!
