The Best Coffee Shops in Devon

Are you a big coffee drinker?  Then you are in the right place in Devon!  With a selection of delicious local roasters such as Owens and Voyager, there are plenty of spots in this county for a decent cup of coffee.  Below we have put together a list of what we think are the best coffee shops in Devon.  Check them out as you head out for a walk, stop in to catch up with friends or family, or enjoy as a shopping break.  Try them on Your Devon Escape.

Newcomen Road, Dartmouth, TQ6 9AF

This cool, laidback café is one to check out.  Serving excellent coffee throughout the day, be sure to pop in with friends or family for something warm to drink.  With a selection of bagels, sourdough, smoothie bowls and pancake stacks on the menu, stay for a bite to eat!  Bula offers a range of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, from milks to food and cakes.  Pop in and check out one of the best coffee shops in Devon for a delicious start to the morning.

Fika is a small coffee house in the centre of Kingsbridge.  They serve all day breakfasts, light lunches, cakes, and (of course) excellent coffee!  Owned by mum and daughter, their aim is to create an environment where people can take time to share coffee and cake with colleagues and friends.  Pop in for a delicious coffee and perhaps give something on the menu a try.  They serve an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

69 High Street, Totnes, TQ9 5PB

Offering a fully plant-based menu, this establishment is excellent for catering to allergies and dietary requirements.  They are, in Your Devon Escape’s opinion, one of the best coffee shops in Devon.  The Hairy Barista’s mission is to source and provide the local community with the highest quality produce.  They do so by offering organic, local, and homemade.  If you are after more than a coffee, be sure to try their vegan ‘salmon and cream cheese’ bagel.

Mangetout serves organic and fairtrade coffee, alongside their breakfast and lunch menus.  Head in for a yummy coffee whilst exploring the high street.  They also have a site in Totnes if you find yourself over in that direction!  Be sure to check them out on Your Devon Escape!
