Or taking part in a crab picking masterclass? Or sitting back and learning from some excellent local and award-winning chefs?  This is the place.  This family friendly festival is free to all, with street stalls and activities for everyone.

PLYMOUTH FIREWORK CHAMPIONSHIPS

Located in nearby Plymouth, this is Britain’s best firework display.  It is the most anticipated event in the city’s annual events calendar.  With thousands of spectators heading up to the Hoe and Mount Batten Peninsula for two evenings of entertainment, we can say that this is a popular event.  Pop over to Plymouth for an evening of the best firework displays in the UK.  Or make a day of it and head into the aquarium for a day of learning and exploring, followed by dinner next door at Rockfish before the main event.

KINGSBRIDGE SHOW

A fantastic day out for all the family. There are events taking place in the main ring all day.  A children’s corner, a pet corner and donkey rides.  Have a browse through the selection of modern and vintage tractors.  Walk through the hundreds of trade, craft, and food and drink stands.  Enjoy the horses, cattle and sheep that are competing or for sale.  Chat to some of the Young Farmers and admire the floral art and horticulture.  With live music and a licensed bar, it is a day of exploring the life of many who live in the local area.

SALCOMBE LIVE

A free weekend festival of live music, comedy, and entertainment.  The event is hosted by many local venues, allowing you to explore the town.  It hosts lots of local bands, artists, and personalities.  The weekend concludes with a headline show on the Sunday evening with a range of performances for you to enjoy.  Pop into the town whilst staying in one of our lovely properties for a fun-filled day out.
