We had a fantastic time in this lovely home. It is all beautifully presented. It had everything that we needed and we loved the table tennis and darts board, in the games room! The house is in such a beautiful par8t of the world. A great place to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day. 😀

We escaped to the beautiful 9 Riverside Wharf for a Mother’s Day weekend with kids ranging from 5-8, and parents in their 70’s. What a great time we had! The views of the apartment were amazing, and so well equipped! The walk to the ferry and into Dartmouth was the perfect length managed easily by age 5-75 . Highly reccommend this beautiful apartment for a coastal escape!! Thanks so much for helping us make great memories!

Had the most wonderful stay at 9 Riverside Wharf. The apartment is perfect with stunning views over the harbour across to the naval college. Parking is great just opposite the apartment and a lovely ferry ride over to Dartmouth for a great choice of restaurants and pubs. Do not hesitate BOOK NOW!

We had such a wonderful stay at Dartmouth Grove! The lodge was absolutely amazing — clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing, especially with the sunny weather. Sitting outside and enjoying the lovely views made the whole experience even more special. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time together. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

Loved our stay at ‘The Cabin’ tucked away in the woods beyond Gara Mill. Beautiful location, waking to bird song each day. The wood burner was fabulous as well. An exceptionally clean and well appointed little cabin. Perfect if you want to get away from it all… Devon Escapes was great throughout with communication and would definitely use them again. They clearly only choose the best properties and look after them well. This property is remote though with total reliance on a car to get about and the dreaded lanes to cope with! No way would I stay here in the busy Summer months. Perfect if you just want to hide away from the world and get a nature fix…

Great little apartment in the centre of town. Super views across to Kingswear; delicious breakfast downstairs at Alfs. Perfect retreat.

We absolutely loved the Cabin. It has been so thoughtfully designed - it really did feel like being on a boat. The views are wonderful, as is the breakfast/brunch at Alf's and the parking permit was invaluable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay in the Cabin.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and the barn suited all our needs. Beds are comfortable with good quality bed linen. Great showers in both bathrooms again with good quality towels. Kitchen is well equipped too. It's a fantastic location to walk to Blackpool Sands. The Green Dragon in the village is a very friendly pub serving delicious pizzas. Despite being close to the road it is very peaceful and quiet. Paul is a very responsive and helpful host and we wouldn't hesitate in returning.

We had the most amazing Christmas spent at higher venice, the property and grounds are beautiful we would definitely like to come back in the summer to enjoy the outside space 😊

We had a wonderful time in Dartmouth at the lovely Captains Cabin. It’s a very quirky flat and has everything available to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Ferryman’s Rest is an amazing property in the heart of Dartmouth. The interior quality is amazing and stylish whilst also very comfortable, especially the beds and bedding. Lovely apartment in a great location easily accessible to walk into town. We didn’t have a problem with parking nearby. The views are outstanding, wonderful sunrises. Facilities, appliances etc are of a high standard, comfortable beds & well equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday. We enjoyed our week so much we’ve booked for next year!

We came for a much needed break and Lower Heywood was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved the roll top bath, powerful shower and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The food festival was a bonus for a wonderful town that has a special place in our hearts as we got engaged here 32 years ago. We enjoyed a farm shop breakfast at Stokely as well as visiting Burgh Island and walking from Dartmouth to Blackpool Sands along the coast path. Paul was very quick to respond to any questions we had and would thoroughly recommend Devon Escapes wholeheartedly!

Boathouse cottage is a gem! A beautiful cottage in the perfect location. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you need. And what a view!

Just got back from an amazing stay at 8 Dartmouth Grove. Views were simply amazing, had a lovely sunrise in the morning to enjoy. The lodge is finished to a high standard which made it an enjoyable place to unwind and relax. The hot tub was also a lovely luxury which should definitely be booked. Hosts very responsive and accommodating - already looking to book again for next year.

We really enjoyed staying at King Alf's above Alfie Resco's café in Dartmouth, (a superb breakfast 'on the doorstep' every morning is not to be sniffed at!) Its' central location in Dartmouth is perfect, together with free parking in the Mayor's Avenue car park. The room itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay in Thurlestone - a long weekend - Thurs to Monday and despite Storm Amy we had some good times on the beach and local farm park attractions. The home was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed and even suitable toys for the 18 month old in our party!

We had a great time at Dart Lookout. The house was very comfortable and in a wonderful location. The views were spectacular. We loved the living/dining area and the comfy beds. It was a brilliant place for our family of six to get together. A lovely pub at the end of the road and the town a short walk away. Fabulous 😍

Absolutely stunning property with amazing views of the Dart. Location is great 15 minute walk to town centre or 8 minute ferry journey from quay 200 yards from property. Lots of out door space to enjoy and has a cinema room. Quality of internal fittings are great and has a fully functional kitchen with everything you need to cook. Will be returning next year. Dartmouth itself is an absolute delight with lots of great restaurants and cafes.
