Lovely week in Mewstone in September. Very spacious, quiet, clean and good views over Dartmouth (as in description details not really a water view, just the distant masts of the boats). Very handy walk down two lots of steps and one short road left into Dartmouth, less than 5 minutes for us. Enjoy!
Good location, comfortable and quiet. If you need to use washing machine, you need to bring own tablets and also own nespresso pods.Outside surroundings a little scruffy but nice inside decor.
The Apartment is close to the town centre so only a short walk to restaurants ,shops and the sea. During the winter months you can park on the road outside for free . The main room is a good size with plenty of natural light and should you want to cook the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped.
Great apartment 2nd visit here , good location, just need to supply a few ceramic oven cooking bowls etc , only baking trays
Gute Lage im Zentrum von Totnes, sehr schöner Ort, viele kleine Geschäfte und Kneipen, Pubs, ..... Modern und vollständig eingerichtete Wohnung, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um Südengland kennenzulernen. Die Parksituation ist zu beachten, aber machbar.

We have just had a fantastic few days stay at spindrift. It is a beautiful house with a fabulous enclosed garden which our two Labradors loved. Would highly recommend this house to anyone and will definitely be back
The cottage was delightful, quiet, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. What made this holiday special, though, was the property’s close proximity to the town, with its restaurants, shops, bus stop, churches and the steamer quay all on our doorstep or within a short walk. We enjoyed river trips , the steam train to Dartmouth, lovely riverside walks, and enjoyable meals.
Comfortable cottage and have enjoyed our stay exploring the area. The bed is comfortable but having the shower and bath in the bedrooms is rather unusual but the shower is good. Downstairs cottage is quite dark and you need lights on during the day particularly in the kitchen. Not sure why there isn’t a full size dishwasher. The fridge is a cupboard so my advice would be to leave the door to the cupboard open. WiFi is also a bit hit and miss - trying to stream on the TV causes buffering if you are using another device at the same time.
Such a beautifully presented house hidden away from the hustle & bustle. Very nicely presented house. Lovely areas to sit and read, inside or outside. Dining for up to 10. Highly recommended.
We loved every minute of our stay here - the house was stunning, comfortable, spotless and had such beautiful surroundings with donkeys and chickens next door and so many birds singing nearby. The hosts were fantastic and were able to kindly accommodate a last-minute change to the bed set-up in one of the rooms for us. The kitchen was the best-equipped kitchen we've ever used in a holiday home and the BBQ was superb. We were pretty sad to have to go home!
Trafalgar Cottage sits in one of the best locations in Dartmouth, with breath taking views of the river and also out to see. The standard of accommodation is top class, and we can’t recommend the property highly enough
Our stay at the Ritson Farm was absolutely fabulous! 10 adults and a one-year old were all comfortably fitted and with the very generous areas for cooking, eating, playing board games and socializing we were all very happy. I stumbled across both the owners and they were adorable. More importantly, as a guest, Paul and Your Devon Escape met all expectation I could have! Always quick, transparent and accurate in responses to any questions I had - that was very much appreciated from our families side. Easily a 10 out of 10 experience - Thank you!

Peartree Lodge is a brilliant place to stay! The house is bright, well equipped and perfectly placed for exploring the beaches and beauty spots of South Devon. We would highly recommend it to anyone, especially families. This was our second stay and we’ll be sure to come back and visit again!
Vi hade en fantastisk upplevelse och lägenheten var toppen för oss. Så ren och fräsch med en utsikt som var helt underbar. Det finns en fin uteplats som vi nyttjade till frukost samt till en grillkväll. Lägenheten ligger nära hamnen vilket var bra då vi hade en bebis med oss. Skulle verkligen hyra lägenheten igen om vi åker tillbaka till Dartmouth.

The house was lovely: well presented and fab location. The driveway into the 3 houses is tight but parking is good. Local shop and pub both excellent. Devon stays offer a good service but I felt an AI reply to my feedback email was a little impersonal. However, I would definitely book again!
I stayed here for three days with my two brothers and we had a great time! As we are from California, we enjoyed scones with clotted cream from the local market in the garden. Additionally, the cottage has a really beautiful 45 minute walk along the coast to Big Bury Beach. The location of Hideaway Cottage allows for a quiet English holiday while being in walking distance to the main town and coastline. My brothers and I are sure to come back and visit!

Had a brilliant stay at the Ferryman’s Rest. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable, especially the bedrooms being on the lower floor with the recent heatwave. Good communication from the management team. Would use again.

Beautiful apartment, really clean and cosy! Amazing location to all the shops, bars and restaurants. They just need to fix the blind above the bed (let’s in too much light early morning) and needs a new toilet seat as wobbly/on its way out lol!
3 nights away in “the apartment”, had an amazing time, Car never moved. Train, river trip, visit to Greenway. Ace food at Hendricks, the dirty Fries were absolutely filthy!!!! The Apartment was spotless, not a fault and Tracy was quietly attentive by text all the time. We’re not critics, so give 7 stars out of 5 . THANKYOU ❤️
We recently stayed at The Cabin in Slapton and had a fantastic break. The cabin was spotlessly clean, exceptionally well equipped and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The woodland setting is peaceful, quiet and secluded, making it the perfect place to switch off and relax. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the deck and taking in the surroundings. Despite its tranquil location, the cabin was easy to find and access, which made arrival and departure completely stress free. As dog owners, we really appreciated how dog friendly the property was. It can be difficult to find accommodation that genuinely welcomes dogs, but The Cabin was ideal and made the holiday enjoyable for the whole family. The location is perfect for exploring South Hams, with Slapton Sands, Dartmouth and the surrounding villages all within easy reach. Communication from Your Devon Escape was excellent throughout, and the whole booking process was straightforward. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful Devon getaway. We would happily return in the future.
We had a lovely stay at Spyglass and would definitely recommend it. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with great amenities. The views were the real standout, absolutely incredible looking out over the water and something we never got tired of. Everything was well prepared for our stay, with fresh, clean linen and plenty of towels provided, which made things very easy and comfortable. As mentioned in the listing, there are stairs up to the apartment, but as long as you’re able-bodied they are perfectly manageable and well worth it for the views. Overall, a wonderful stay.
