We didn’t want to go home!
A lovely, cosy little house, a short walk into the town. We really enjoyed our time at this house. It has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, a lovely wood burner, 2 tvs with Netflix etc, comfy beds, and ideal for a family as well as our Labrador. Paul was super accommodating and answered any questions I had. We even added an extra night as were having so much fun we didn’t want to go home! Dartmouth is a real gem of a place and Blackpool sands is one of my all time favourite beaches. We ate at Rockfish in Dartmouth one night which was amazing and brilliant for kids too. All round a beautiful holiday for me and my boys!
The Townhouse was nice
The Townhouse was nice, but a little cold. It was clean and well maintained. Not too far from Dartmouth shops and restaurants. Easy walk in, but a big climb back – good workout 😁.

Great house for a weekend break, the location means you have parking. Beds were very comfy and great to have a garden in Dartmouth

Very spacious townhouse, extremely well equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable with lovely white bedding. Very convenient location above the town in Dartmouth, but it is a fair walk down down the hill and then back up again. The area was quiet and it was great to have parking outside the house. The parking directly in front of the house will only take a small car but then there is a space on the road too. All communication with the hosts was speedy and the information provided was helpful too.

The place was a great space!
The place was a great space! The kitchen was clean and it was lovely to have a big dining area as well as a comfortable living room to relax in. Our dog loved the garden and you can see the harbour which was a bonus! Three comfy double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to choose from. The street was quiet & plenty of space to park! Only tiny thing to note is that there wasn’t any welcome items like coffee/ milk/ butter or local snacks which would’ve been a nice touch, tea bags and sugar was provided. All in all a lovely stay!
Loved Dartmouth & would definitely stay again.
Arrived a bit early & cleaners just finishing off so went for a short walk. Place was spotless. Comfy beds and nice bed linen. Bit of miscommunication regarding coffee makers as id read the Nespresso machine was no longer at property, messaged Paul to ask & he said it wasn’t there so I said I’d bring my cafetière. When we arrived there were already 2 at the property. Bit of a walk into town ( especially on way back (uphill ) but we got used to it. Loved Dartmouth & would definitely stay again.
Lovely view of the harbour
This house, unassuming from the outside, is located in a quiet neighborhood, but its interior is charming and pleasant. A small welcome pack with coffee was in the kitchen. The top terrace invites you to relax and unwind, with a lovely view of the harbour and early morning sun. The second terrace is perfect for breakfast. In cooler weather, it would be nicer to sit on cushions. The wooden chairs were a bit damp. Just before arrival, you could have raked up the dry leaves to make it look a bit tidier. It's a 15-minute walk to the harbor, where there's plenty to explore. The uphill walk back is a bit of a challenge, but you have time. We had a small problem with the door lock, but it only took 30 minutes from the first message until someone arrived. Super-fast response, super-friendly communication. Beautiful city and surroundings, it was fun!
This is such a beautiful place to stay
This is such a beautiful place to stay, especially with the incredible garden and decking, my dogs were absolutely thrilled. At the very top of the garden there’s an incredible viewpoint looking over Dartmouth! If you have mobility issues, it might not be the most accessible, as getting up the hill to the house gets quite steep at the top, however it was worth the walk for me and my family, and we would come back without a doubt! We’ve stayed closer to the centre before without the walk, but the house, view, amenities here were all so perfect this is still my favourite stay. Thank you Paul & Brooke, incredible hosts and our second year staying at one of their Devon homes. Thank you for giving us such lovely summer memories ❤️

We had a lovely family stay at Victoria rd. 3 spacious bedrooms main bathroom with downstairs shower open kitchen and dinning room and plenty of space to relax after your day out . The house gave us a base to explore Dartmouth from kayaking to the beach coastal walks local indoor swimming pool Paul was very good with communication and suggestions and we took good use of the app he has for your stay with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Dartmouth. The local restaurants serve lovely food just make sure you book in advance in busy periods. The walk into town about 15mins down the hill we never felt at all the walk back up the hill was a problem I had my 8yr daughter with me and she never moaned once and after a couple of beers and some local food I enjoyed the walk back. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paul’s house and Dartmouth we will be 💯 back.

Very Nice
"Very nice stay. Place was lovely and clean, instructions from Paul were easy to enter and leave property On a quiet road about 15 minute walk from the town, going in is easy as its downhill back is a bit harder as it eventually becomes quite steep. If you dont want to walk the number 90 bus will take you up the hill from the center for £2 per adult! If your reasonably fit though its fine to walk. Garden is on a steep terraced slope but you can sit on the first terrace which catches the sun which is nice in the afternoon. The bedrooms are great, a decent size and we all slept really well. There is also small bathroom with shower downstairs if there are a few of you needing to shower at the same time which is useful. Kitchen well equipped with everything you’ll need. Lots of lovely if somewhat pricey restaurants in the town. A couple of lovely beaches about 20 minutes away, better to take a picnic as not many cafes on the beaches. Overall though we all enjoyed our stay the house."
Absolutely Reccomend
'Absolutely beautiful property! We loved the kitchen and dining room space with the big blue comfy sofa to lounge on. The house was absolutely spotless and it was great having a bathroom on each floor (both with amazing showers). Beds were very comfortable and you have the option of having a queen bed or 2 singles in one room. Although the walk into town isn’t far, walking back up the hill is good exercise! The one thing we could not get over was how beautiful the garden was! We were very lucky with the weather and spent so much time out there as it’s such a sun trap. Paul was very quick to answer any questions I had and let us check in early which we really appreciated! Definitely recommend staying here."

The are is fabulous and we really appreciated all the tips the owner left in a file for us. So much better than a hotel room."

"Had a really nice stay over Easter. The house is clean and tidy and has everything you'd need. Good parking right outside the property makes things easy. A bit of a climb from the town, but not too strenuous and helps to burn off the calories !! Great host, everything went very smoothly".
