Brooke – Owner (Accounts & Operations)
Having worked within the industry since 2015, I have seen it all when it comes to managing and servicing properties, these experiences have driven me to ensure Your Devon Escape is a company that provides more. My role within the company has developed with the growth of YDE and I now oversee the day-to-day operations. A role that keeps me busy, but at the same time excited. I am particularly proud that we can provide the complete package for our owners and not just the letting aspect. I strive for an environment that ensures positive development for our team and am a strong believer that a successful company is the result of a great team.
Paul – Owner (Lettings & Property Services Manager)
Born in the Midlands, settled in Devon after nearly 20 years in the Royal Navy, finishing my career as an instructor at the Naval College. Taking on the challenge of building and growing a new business has been an exciting journey, and I’m proud to co-lead an independent, local company where owners can form lasting relationships with a real local partner. Managing bookings and onboarding beautiful new properties across Devon allows me to explore the region’s hidden gems, meet fantastic people, and develop the business further. Outside of work, I’m a proud dad to four children, an avid freshwater angler, and I enjoy staying fit and playing Golf as often as time allows.
Claire – Property Manager
As a true Dartmothian, having lived and worked in Dartmouth my entire life, there is nothing I like more than sharing my knowledge with both owners and visitors alike and even letting them know of some local hidden gems! Having worked in hospitality from the age of sixteen, starting in the Tourist Information Centre and the towns Chamber of Trade to then working for larger commercially owned letting agents, it is lovely to work with Brooke and Paul, a married couple who ensure that ‘local’ means ‘local’. When I am not in the office you may see me out walking my two golden retrievers along the South West Coastal Path or on any of our dog friendly beaches.
