The Oyster Shack

Rewind thirty-four years and this shack actually housed an oyster farm. Jamie Rodgers bought the restaurant he’d always dreamed of owning at the age of 27. From his whirlwind of creativity combined with an excellent team, the Twenty Seven that locals know and love was born. Their ethos is simple. They use fresh local produce, skilfully prepared and served in a relaxed, yet vibrant atmosphere. Quality is key to the team’s hearts, with Jamie only sourcing and cooking the best produce from the area. Everything is raised, caught, or grown within twenty-seven miles of the restaurant, and, in fact, much of it comes from closer. If you want fine dining luxury whilst also enjoying local, this is one of the best restaurants near Bigbury-On-Sea. With all the dishes matched with quality wines and cocktails, they guarantee an unforgettable experience.
