Wonderful Visit
Great location with beautiful views, easy access to the ferry. The apartment was much bigger than we expected with plenty of space and spotlessly clean.
Very much enjoyed staying here
We very much enjoyed staying here. Kingswear is quieter than Dartmouth itself and has all you need (in terms of a couple of great pubs, lovely coffee place, a very useful convenience shop) – though you will end up spending some cash going back and forth across the Dart using the ferry. The flat has all amenities and is well looked after. We did feel the need to water the houseplants however ;). The lack of parking is a bit of an issue. We used the marina car park which is relatively expensive, but we could have moved the car a little way away from the flat to park for free, or could have swapped things around to make use of free parking nearby when spaces were not reserved for residents only. Overall, a very good stay and we’d be happy to come back.

Excellent facilities with incredible views of the Marina, Dartmouth and the Dart. Nice spacious, clean apartment with good facilities. Great comms from the owner. Would stay again.
We had a lovely break
We had a lovely break in Kingswear, visiting local National Trust venues, a river trip on the Dart and meals out. The apartment was very spacious. The sitting room was light with comfortable seating and a magnificent view over the dart. The kitchen provided everything we needed and was well stocked with crockery and an excellent Nespresso coffee machine. The table was adequate for four people. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The steep narrow steps down to the entrance might make this apartment challenging for people with reduced mobility – especially when taking luggage in or out.

Location superb.
Apartment was spacious. A long one way system made finding the front of the building a challenge. The satnav takes you to the wrong side of the building. Apartment is before Hoyles garage oin the Lower Contour Road.
Highly recommended
The place is really comfortable and has plenty of space! The beds are comfortable and showers hot, and the kitchen fully equipped. The lounge is a lovely place to relax, and the view is breathtaking. The ferry for Dartmouth is a few minutes walk away, as are two lovely pubs! Walk to The Ship inn for a sing along to some sea shanties on a Thursday evening. You need to bring soap and toiletries for the bathrooms. The apartment is perfect for 4 people, but not sure where the 5th person would sit at the dining table, or in the lounge. Highly recommended this property and location.

We had a lovely few days
We had a lovely few days in Kingswear Paul's place is very comfortable, well equipped and clean There is so much to see and do within easy reach and the view across to the river to Dartmouth is absolutely stunning, you could never tire of looking at it, we even had a cruise ship anchor there for the day!
Fantastic views
A lovely flat with fantastic views out across the River Dart. We stayed here at the end of a week's walk along part of the South West Coast Path and it was an excellent base for Dartmouth/KIngswear for a couple of days before we headed home.
Perfect for us!
The property was perfect for us and our two friends. Beautiful shared space and beautiful harbour views, two good bedrooms - one with stunning views and the other with good en-suite. Location also perfect as walkable to ferry, steam train station and local pubs. (Steepish hill and steps so as described not good for restricted mobility.)
What a great time we had!
We escaped to the beautiful 9 Riverside Wharf for a Mother’s Day weekend with kids ranging from 5-8, and parents in their 70’s. What a great time we had! The views of the apartment were amazing, and so well equipped! The walk to the ferry and into Dartmouth was the perfect length managed easily by age 5-75 . Highly reccommend this beautiful apartment for a coastal escape!! Thanks so much for helping us make great memories!

Really lovely house in a great location. Really well equipped with a lovely homely feel. Would definitely recommend. We love Dartmouth and definitely like staying Kingswear side…the girls love getting the boat over and love the steam packet pub 😂 The house is ideal.

I'd definitely stay there again. incredibly beautiful views and a very cosy apartment. Can't emphasize how beautiful the view was!! we spent all our time sitting next to the large French windows! a very nice kitchen and squeaky clean bathrooms. Great location in Kingswear, close to the ferry, train and bus. I'd recommend 100%
Perfect location with great view
Perfect location with great view over the river. Comfortable sofas and beds. Easy reach of South Coast path, ferry, station, pubs and local shop. Sunny, quieter side of the river, but very easy to get to Dartmouth. Ideal for steam enthusiasts! Beautiful walks, great sea swimming at Sugary Cove. Lovely boat ride up the Dart river. Only small issue was a smell from the drains in family bathroom but disappeared after a day or so. Steps to front door are steep, not a problem for us but could be for those with mobility issues. Shower in family bathroom very small but ok. Remember to take your own toiletries. Overall a lovely stay in a great location.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
Well appointment property which accurately matched the description and photos. It was clean and tidy and bright and modern. The property has amazing views of the harbour and Dartmouth Atwood the river. The steam train station is literally less than 5 minutes away and the steam trains can be seen chugging along from the property. I asked for a late checkout and Paul was very accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.

Lovely and spacious apartment
Great location! Lovely and spacious apartment. The kitchen was a bit cramped with five people at the table. The living room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view and evening sun. The ferry to Dartmouth is very close and runs very frequently (7am-11pm). We took the Round Robin ferry to Totnes, a lovely trip. Totnes itself was very nice, and we visited the castle. It's a nice town with lovely shops too. We took a double-decker bus ride to Paignton, not very exciting. And Paignton itself was one big funfair, bigger and dirtier than Totnes. We went to the seaside for a bit, but not exciting. The steam train back to Kingswear was very nice and beautiful again. That evening, I walked to Mill Bay fort/cove with my eldest son. We had a half-hour walk, some very steep sections. A beautiful and deserted bay! We saw a seal. And the next day we went back with the whole family to swim, throw stones, climb rocks, build stone towers, and make dams. And again, we were the only ones there! On
