CHARACTER MEET AND GREETS AT WOODLANDS
Meet Zog as well as a host of other popular characters at Woodlands Family Theme Park this half term. The much-loved Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffer character will be appearing on 29th May. It’s also Dino-Week so Ritchie Raptor will be performing tricks and making appearances throughout 30th May and a 12ft T-Rex will be roaming the Woodlands Dino Trek on 31st May! To finish the week, Titan the Robot is back by popular demand on 2 June. All of this is on top of the usual rides and animals at Woodlands to explore! The English Riviera Air Show is on the 3rd and 4th June. Witness the red arrows soaring through the skies, along with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. PADDINGTON: THE STORY OF A BEAR AT TORRE ABBEY
Torre Abbey is hosting a family-friendly exhibition celebrating everyone’s favourite bear. Paddington: The Story of a Bear explores Michael Bond’s creation of Paddington, in a fun, educational and interactive way. The exhibition has some great activities for all ages: children can practice their hard stares, take their own self ‘pawtrait’ and follow the trail of marmalade left by Paddington. So, don your hat and duffle coat, grab your suitcase, and join for a marmalade sandwich-fuelled trip down memory lane this half term in Devon.
OUTDOOR CINEMA AT POWDERHAM CASTLE
See some family and teen-friendly favourites in in the grounds of Powderham Castle near Exeter over the half term week. Among the films being shown are Grease, The Greatest Showman, and Top Gun. So, grab your tickets online, bring your own blanket or deckchair and enjoy the show. With food trucks and a bar available, you will be all set for an evening of entertainment. Dress up for the film because best dressed wins a prize!
UNICORN WEEK AT PENNYWELL FARM
Join Pennywell Farm for a fabulous unicorn-themed week over half term. In addition to meeting all your favourite animals, and enjoying the usual activities, shows, and displays, there’ll be a host of special unicorn-themed experiences.
