Andria, Dartmouth

A modern, boutique restaurant with all the benefits of fine dining.  Focussing on a modern take of classic dishes you will be spoilt rotten with your roast here.  All recipes have been developed and tested in house, which is part of the reason why it holds such a high reputation among locals and visitors alike.  Because it is a much-loved restaurant, we highly recommend booking!  Veggie and vegan options are available.

Circa, Stoke Gabriel

Located inside an old stone milking parlour, their restaurant is all about sharing and showcasing the best produce from the estate and the area.  A place to relax and unwind, sit back, and enjoy a wonderful Sunday lunch in Devon.  Pair it with delicious wine grown a stone’s throw away!  They value creating the best experience whilst being conscious of their sustainable impact.  Their ethos is an ingredient-led approach, reflecting the seasons.  Their produce is organic where possible, and everything is ethically sourced.  With views out across the River Dart, this is truly a magical place to enjoy a Sunday lunch in Devon.

Live & Let Live, Landscove
An under the radar gem of a pub.  With stone walls, wooden tables, and a cosy fireplace, think traditional Devon.  They offer a beautiful farm-to-fork Sunday lunch that will make you wish you were staying another week.  Live & Let Live believe passionately in provenance, sustainability, and seasonality.  They focus on what is good and local, both in the bar and kitchen.  The pub itself is a space where locals meet and visitors leave as friends, so even if you aren’t going to pop in for lunch, definitely pay a visit for a drink and a good chat.  Veggie and vegan options are available.

Millbrook Inn, South Pool

You will find this Devon Sunday lunch spot nestled between land and sea on the Salcombe estuary.  It is a hidden heaven for those who enjoy good food, great wine and local ales in front of the fire.  For generations, the Millbrook has held a special place in the hearts of locals.  The food is prepared with care and love, served simply to reflect the seasons, using meat and veggies from their family farm.  It is a spot to simply not miss on Your Devon Escape.  Veggie and vegan options are available.

The Carys Arms, Babbacombe

This gastro pub offers simple food cooked to perfection and views across Lyme Bay.  Using the best quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients, no two meals will be the same.  Dine outdoors during the warmer months and watch life in the bay unfold or dine indoors next to a log burner on cooler days.  No matter the weather, it’s a great spot for Sunday lunch in Devon.  Be sure to explore the beach and the cliff railway before or after your meal.  Offering veggie and vegan options.

The Chagford Inn, Chagford

This inn has been a pub for over two hundred years.  It aims to provide an unforgettable experience, combining great service in a relaxed atmosphere, showcasing Devon’s best produce.  They have a family and dog friendly vibe, use local produce, and have a selection of local ales, great cocktails, and an excellent wine list on rotation.  They value the importance of having a close relationship with the farmers and growers they use, so if you have any questions about the food, feel free to ask!  Located on Dartmoor, it is a great place for a Sunday lunch in Devon after a good stomp.
