Palm Cott is typical of the pretty terrace-style properties found in the heart of Brixham. Built in the 1800s for the local quarry men, it’s full of history and charm. Recently renovated and re-furnished, the cottage provides you with comfort for up to four people to enjoy and one small, well-behaved dog.
The downstairs is home to a beautiful, bespoke oak kitchen and comfortable living area. It is fit with a wood burning stove, adding to the warm and cosy feel of the property. With full gas-fired central heating throughout, even the winter months are welcoming at Palm Cott.
The two bedrooms sleep up to four guests. There is a double bedroom, fit with wardrobe and a chair, making it the perfect spot for some light reading. The second bedroom is fit with two single beds that can be ‘Zip & Linked’ to make a king sized bed, (must be advised ahead of the arrival).
The bathroom is found upstairs, fit with a shower and is beautifully decorated. A starter supply of toilet rolls and hand soap available in the bathroom.
Palm Cott also offers a unique special two-tiered decking area to the rear of the property, where you can enjoy the sunshine on a warm day. The cottage also has a patio area to the front of the property, equipped with a table and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee or alfresco meal.
Shared off-street parking is available on Wren Hill, a quiet road located accessible via the back garden. Access to the property once occupied, can be obtained via Wren Hill and through a fence gate leading straight down to the back entrance of the property itself.
You will find Brixham harbour a ten-minute walk away, home to plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants serving today’s catch straight from the bay. Enjoy paddle boarding on the nearby Breakwater Beach or take a ferry across the bay to Torquay.
