OLD MARKET HOUSE

The Old Market House is a spectacular place to eat in Brixham.  Their pub and restaurant operate over two floors, enjoying some of the finest views of the harbour. ROCKFISH BRIXHAM

Select from their classics or from the daily changing list of fresh local seafood from Brixham Harbour.  Rockfish Brixham sits in the world-famous fish market, overlooking the boats as they land their catch.  They have seating inside the restaurant and further alfresco dining outside on the terrace, so you can watch the fishing fleet as they come back into the harbour.  There really isn’t a better place to enjoy fresh seafood overlooking the water from where it was caught.  They also offer meat, vegetarian and vegan options if fish isn’t your thing, but this is definitely the place to fall in love with fish if you haven’t already!  With a wide selection of fish and seafood options to choose from, this is an affordable yet delicious option to try the best of British seafood and is one of the best Brixham lunch spots.  If you simply fancy some yummy traditional fish and chips or want to try something new and local, this is your spot!

THE CURIOUS KITCHEN

An independently owned café in Brixham, established by Chef Ash Hamilton.  Curious Kitchen serves brunch, lunch, coffee, cakes and more.  They are particularly renowned for their delicious all-day breakfasts and excellent doughnuts. Chef Ash Hamilton has worked hard to bring original concepts to the town, whilst maintain a laid-back and welcoming vibe.  The café was the first of the kind in Brixham and began the movement to put Brixham on the map as an excellent place for brunch.  With a wide selection of gluten-free and vegan options, they have something for everyone on their menu.  Whether you want an all-day breakfast or hearty lunch, check out their website and give it a try today.  If you like the sound of all of this, check out their bakery too!

THE GUARDHOUSE
