Winter in Bigbury-On-Sea

Bigbury-on-Sea hosts lots of indoor and winter activities on its doorstep.  You might think of the area as a summer holiday destination, but it has so much on offer throughout the winter months.  See a different side to the area and its nature.  Wrap up warm and enjoy those summer activities.  Appreciate the area in a different light.

Whatever the weather, it is always a day for the beach in Devon.  On blustery days, enjoy a stroll whilst watching the waves roll in and breathe in the cleansing sea air.  Join the locals for a dip or pack your waterproofs and let the kids splash about in the waves.  All beaches are dog-friendly during the winter, so bring your pooch along for the adventure. On a sunny day, a day at the beach can feel like a summer’s day.  Pack your beach stuff for your winter staycation and enjoy that beach holiday no matter the time of year.  For our recommendations for beaches in the area, check out our blog post.
