Tunes on the Sands is held every July on the beautiful Blackpool Sands. Tunes on the Sands is hosted every year on the South West coast, bringing you an array of music from well-known bands and DJs alongside a silent disco. How better to spend Your Devon Escape than enjoying live music in a beach setting.
Tunes on the Sands is a festival loved by locals and visitors alike. The multi-day event brings something for everyone, with a wellbeing area, food, drinks, and family entertainment. Pack your beach mats and camping chairs, to sit and enjoy the music or get yourself to the front of the crowd for a day of dancing. With the event being held on the beach, it brings with it lots of luxuries. If you need to take a break from the dancing and cool off, take a dip in the refreshing waters of the beach, or sit back and relax with a bit of sunbathing, all whilst still enjoying the music.

Please note, despite the name, the beach is actually shingle. This does not been it is any less idyllic. If anything, it will stop you getting sandy whilst you boogie the day away. Food and drink are also not allowed to be taken into the venue; however, you are allowed to pass in and out of the festival venue throughout the day if needed. We also recommend organising transport to and from the event before the day. You can take the local bus out to the beach; however, you will need to organise a lift or book a taxi before the day.
