Crab Fest Salcombe

Held every May, Crab Fest is held in Salcombe. This festival celebrates the local fishing and tourism industry.  This one-day event is free to all and promises a fantastic day out.  Celebrate Salcombe’s renowned brown crab, and fishing and tourism industries, whilst raising money for good causes.

Expect cooking demonstrations from highly acclaimed chefs and a chance to taste the dishes they have created before your eyes.  There will be an array of tempting street food stalls to choose from, and the chance to meet local businesses lining Island Street and Salcombe’s quayside.  With the village centre being pedestrianised for the day, visitors can enjoy live music and families can enjoy children’s entertainment in between trying some of the delicious local catch.

The event is run by volunteers from The Rotary Club of Salcombe with the aim of raising as much money as possible for local charities.  Don’t miss out on this crab-tivating day out!  Join us for a day of culinary excellence, community spirit, and family fun at Crab Fest in Salcombe.
