Blackpool Sands Café
This spot is simply idyllic. With beautiful views out to sea and overlooking the beach, it is what Devon is all about. Serving delicious food with stunning views. The menu is inspired by the coast, using local ingredients. It offers an excellent array of options including veggie, vegan and gluten free, to cater to all dietaries. Or if you are after something a bit quicker, pick something up from their takeaway! Offering live music events during the year, check out their website or Instagram to find out more! Café Alf Resco
Less than a minute’s walk from the Lower Ferry, you will find the quirky and trendy Café Alf Resco. This is a destination spot when visiting Dartmouth. Loved by locals and visitors alike, there is always a queue out the door. Serving delicious breakfasts, juices, and smoothies, be sure to stop in and see the warm and welcoming team. With live music on the weekends, this is a special place to enjoy a brunch near Stoke Fleming. Café Alfresco is a great option if you are staying in one of our properties as you will receive 10% off your bill by showing your Your Devon Escape keyring when paying! We recommend booking, and you simply must try their cinnamon toast!

Dudley’s Café
A family run café located close to the Lower Ferry in Dartmouth. Serving a variety of classic dishes and light bites using local ingredients, and catering to dietaries, the menu offers something for the whole party! Dudley’s is a member of our Visitors Club so, if you are staying in one of our properties, you will also receive 10% off your bill by showing your Your Devon Escape keyring when paying. An excellent extra little perk! Bookings are not required but if you are wanting to make one, be sure to get in touch.

Jenny Koo’s Kitchen
Jenny Koo’s Kitchen is a modern Asian take on a classic deli. This deli is dog-friendly and serves a selection of brunch options from baps and pastries to some Asian twists. There is always a bit of spice and flare on the menu for those wanting to try something different. Jenny prides herself on her kitchen being all about excitement and creativity. If there is a specific Chinese or Malaysian dish that you are craving, contact her beforehand and she is usually willing to cater to specific requests! Catering for veggies, vegans, and gluten free, it’s the perfect spot for everyone. Her gluten free cakes are to die for!

Mangetout
Mangetout serves organic and fairtrade coffee, alongside their breakfast and lunch menus. They offer a range of delicious and nutritious breakfast options, plus a selection of cakes and pastries if you want a lighter bite. They also have a site in Totnes if you find yourself over in that direction! Catering for veggies and vegans, this is one to not miss.

Smith Street Deli
Smith Street Deli is a delicatessen and speciality food shop. They pride themselves on offering a welcoming atmosphere whilst serving fresh local ingredients. They offer a selection of breakfast and brunch options using only the best products from the surrounding area. Pop in for breakfast and you will most definitely leave with a selection of local Devon goodies!

Stokeley Café & Taphouse
The Stokeley Café is the perfect brunch spot near Stoke Fleming. Serving food all day, but with breakfast only until 11:30am, enjoy a hearty breakfast that will put a smile on your face. They also offer lighter options such as coffee and cake, if you just simply want a quick hunger fix. The café is an excellent place to visit no matter the time of day. Valley View Café is located on a farm, offering stunning views of the Devon countryside. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining, to cater for all weathers and comfortability. All their dishes are created using local ingredients. Their meats coming from the butchers next door, fish from Moby Nicks in Plymouth, and, where they can, the vegetables and salads are home grown. Serving the freshest possible brunches with a smile, Valley View Café is one not to miss on Your Devon Escape.
