Dartmoor Zoo are opening their gates after dark on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October for a hair-raising adventure, as you won’t know what is lurking around the corner. HALLOWEEN AT BABBACOMBE MODEL VILLAGE
Halloween at Babbacombe Model Village is both a day and night-time event. By day, enjoy some miniature Halloween themed characters and scenes spooking the miniature residents, or take part in the miniature pumpkin hunt. By night, experience the evening illuminations with fire and lighting effects. Let your little monster join in the fun this Halloween. This Halloween half term at The Milky Way families can enjoy a fabulous family day out with a little extra Halloween-themed fun! From Saturday 21st October to Sunday 29th & Tuesday 31st October 2023 there’ll be lots of extra Halloween activities to enjoy – all designed to be fun rather than scary. Enrol your little horrors at their very special School for Witches and Wizards where they can try spell writing and casting plus potion making. Then bump around the Spooky Swamp Dodgems, catch Merlin’s themed show filled with his special brand of spooktacular fun, catch a special storytelling session for little ones and enjoy the atmosphere of The Milky Way all decorated in its Halloween Best. PUMPKIN TRAIL AT BICTON PARK BOTANICAL GARDENS
Head to Bicton Park to follow their pumpkin trail this October. From the 23rd-29th follow the Halloween trail in search for pumpkins around the gardens. They also hold a Halloween colouring competition with a chance to win a family membership and hold a witch’s grotto open at numerous times throughout the day. Fancy dress is welcome!
