The Brambles is a peaceful annexe located just outside the bustling town of Barnstaple. Fit with a comfortable double bed, kitchenette and en-suite, it provides the perfect space for a cosy getaway.
This newly decorated property is accessed via its own entrance. You will be greeted by a kitchette, double bed and en-suite. The floor-to-ceiling glass doors also provide the room with lots of natural light.
The kitchenette is fitted with a pull down table and chairs, a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. The space has been carefully considered for you to create a light morning breakfast to enjoy before your day of adventure. Tea, coffee and milk will be provided to help make your stay extra comfortable.
The en-suite is complete with a shower, sink and toilet. The room is fit with a wall-mounted TV, perfect for those cherished evenings in.
At the side of the property is your own private outdoor area complete with modern rattan-style seating and table. The space provides a portable barbeque, perfect for evenings of watching the stars.
Visit North Devon and you’ll find that there is more to this spectacular and diverse region than you might have thought. A short ride, or a few minutes’ drive away is the Tarka trail. Grab a map and hit the cycle path or just walk. Inspired by Tarka the Otter, The Tarka Trail is an 180 mile, figure of eight loop exploring all the diversity and beauty North Devon has to offer. Footpaths and bridleways will take you through unspoiled countryside traversing valleys and woods through Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks.
Barnstaple town centre is located a twenty-minute walk away. The town is home to an excellent selection of restaurants and independent shops for you to taste and explore. Or take a trip to Clovelly and witness the cobbled streets and traditional cottages. Or for one of the lovely golf courses in the area, try Saunton Golf Club or the Royal North Devon and Portmore Golf Park.
North Devon is probably best known for its award-winning coastline, much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The golden sandy beaches are perfect for rock-pooling, swimming and surfing, in fact, much of the coast is the UK’s top surfing spot. For seaside resort towns, take a look at the towns of Woolacombe, Westward Ho!, Bideford and Ilfracombe. Or for the ultimate surfer’s paradise, Croyde and Saunton are the places to be!
