Our owners have worked with several local and national agents, as well as independent homeowners to provide cleaning, laundry, and management services for over fifteen years. These experiences have enabled Brooke and Paul to build Your Devon Escape, knowing from the beginning what works and what doesn’t within the industry.
We have used first-hand experience of being service providers as well as guests in properties to help create an exciting, fresh and dynamic addition to the letting industry. INDEPENDENT AND LOCALLY OWNED
Your Devon Escape provides a hands-on approach to their business. We are always on hand if you have any questions or queries that need to be answered. Knowing the area well from years of living here, we are around to help owners or guests with anything you could need. Whether this be repairs, ideas for activities, or where to eat.
FOCUS ON QUALITY NOT QUANTITY
Your Devon Escape chooses the properties in our portfolio based on character and uniqueness. Each of our properties have their own quirk, whether this be the location, the facilities or the view. We want a selection of properties that we provide a high-quality service for, one which we get right time and again. A portfolio and service that make guests want to revisit and use again.
WE OFFER ATTRACTIVE COMMISSION RATES
Our service is priced at a one-off set up fee of £349 per property. This is paired with a simple commission structure, with a flat rate of 13% + VAT per booking. There are no hidden costs or fees within this, so you will always know what you are making from each booking at your property. It is a simple but effective business structure that works for both the business and homeowner.
OFFSET CLEANING FEES
We offer a cleaning and laundry service through our sister company, Chameleon. We factor this into the price of the booking for the guest, to offset this cost from you. This makes any length of break viable for the owner because the property will be cleaned at checkout at no additional cost to them. Your Devon Escape can maximise booked days within each property with no extra costs to owners, whilst also maximising profits. If you have or want to use your own cleaning provider, we can communicate with them to make the process just as smooth.
NO MINIMUM LETTING PERIOD
We do not require a minimum letting period nor do we insist you have your property available for letting at certain times of the year. This means that you can use your property how and when you like. You have all the power and can let us know when you would like your property to be available to guests for booking. We will just advertise the letting of your property for when you say its free!
BOOKING AND MARKETING
We advertise and market your property via our own and associated websites. Your Devon Escape use social media to showcase property to as wide an audience as possible. We handle all enquiries as well as taking bookings and corresponding with your cleaner/service provider.
FULL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
We cover everything from booking guests in to organising the clean after guests check out. Your Devon Escape is always on hand to assist with any queries to ensure our guests get a luxury staycation and our owners never have any unanswered questions. We can help organise trips or offer advice for activities guests can do, alongside organising maintenance with local and trusted tradesmen when its needed. We advertise and publicise your property to make it known to a wide and growing audience. Your Devon Escape offers the full package.
