A farmhouse cottage in the heart of the countryside, with picturesque farmland walks on the doorstep. This property comes with the use of an indoor heated pool, games room, motor cross track (indoor and outdoor), and fitness room.
Entering through a porch way, you are welcomed by an open-plan lounge and dining area, fit with a wood-burning stove. Fit with a three-seater sofa, armchair, and circular dining table for four, there is ample room for relaxing in comfort after a day of exploring.
The farmhouse kitchen backs onto the dining area and the authentic, wooden, spiral staircase that takes you to the upstairs. It is fit with everything necessary to cook up a farmhouse feast after a day of exploring. The kitchen will be supplied with t-towels and a sundry pack.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. A super king and twin with a shared bathroom. The master bedroom is light and airy with high beams and lots of natural light. The twin room is cosy and typical of a farmhouse bedroom. The bathroom is fit with a bath and shower, for you to relax after a Devon day out. A starter supply of toilet rolls and hand soap will be available in the bathroom.
To the front of the barn is a courtyard area with table and chairs and a communal area of grass that leads directly to the swimming pool and games rooms. These are available for your entertainment at any time.
There is parking for two cars and the local towns of Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge are just ten minutes away. The nearest beach is Blackpool sands, a twenty-minute drive away, and perfect for children. The English Riviera is located a forty-minute drive away, where you can explore all that Torquay, Paignton and Brixham have to offer.
The Wheeldon Off-Road Centre, adjacent to the cottages, boasts a purpose-built, 30,000 square foot indoor arena (split in separate halves for fully electric powered motorbikes and bicycles) and junior training circuit, and is the ideal year-round venue for the whole family to learn to ride a motorcycle in a fun and controlled environment. The facility must be booked in advance and their use is charged additionally. The link will be sent in a separate email once booked. Rates are available for children and adults during the school holidays (booking by prior arrangement pre arrival), providing children and adults with the opportunity to experience the ultimate, two-wheel off-road adventure for the first time. All that’s needed is the enthusiasm to have a great deal of fun! Suited to all ages from three-years-old to fit seniors.
With everything and more on the doorstep, you will never want to leave.

Swimming Pool: Is shared with 4 other cottages on the site and open between 6am and 10pm daily all year round. We ask that you bring your own pool towels with you.
